    Good Service, but Rooms Are Dated

    I recently stayed at Hilton Zhengzhou, and overall it delivers a standard five-star experience, though with some noticeable strengths and weaknesses.On the positive side, the concierge team was excellent. I had 8 parcels delivered during my stay, and every single one was handled efficiently and professionally. Everything was well-organized and easy to retrieve, which is not always the case in other hotels.The front desk staff were also very good — professional, polite, and efficient during check-in, making the arrival experience smooth and pleasant.I would also like to thank the hotel for the rose birthday cake — it was a very thoughtful gesture, and I truly appreciated that the team noticed and celebrated my birthday.The breakfast offered a wide selection, and importantly, the food was consistently served hot, which I appreciated.However, there are some drawbacks. The hotel feels quite dated overall, and the lobby is relatively small and lacks the sense of grandeur you might expect from a five-star property.The guest rooms in particular are in need of renovation. The design feels outdated, and the condition does not quite match modern expectations. In addition, the lighting in the room is quite dim, which makes tasks like applying makeup rather inconvenient.Overall, this is a hotel with strong service standards, but the hardware and design are starting to show their age.
