    Amazing Sanctuary, 10 mins out from Ubud, amongst the rice paddy’s . Beautiful , comfy rooms, great pool and the staff always so friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic and I love that this retreat is v eco friendly. Water tanks on all floors to refill bottles etc

    I availed the 5 Days Restore, Renew, Retreat Program last January 10-14, 2026 and I was very happy with my experience. I loved how they allowed me to do early check-in and late check out as well as the accommodation of all my requests. The turn down service is my favorite part. I love how they made me feel like royalty during my stay. Tulsi desserts are the best, and the deep sleep tea helped me sleep for 6-8 hours when my usual sleeping time during the past several years was just 2-3 hours. They even accompanied me to run in the rice terraces even if it is not part of the program as I was preparing to join a full marathon next month. I also loved my Ashram Temple and Garden experiences. Their massage/spa and customer services have been the best, I was crying when I left Om Ham. I look forward to avail the retreat program here annually.     Worst experience I have ever had in 8 years of visiting Bali

    CAUTION: Deceptive booking practices, food safety issues, moldy roomsVery disappointing stay at Om Ham Ubud. The resort markets itself as a wellness retreat, but my experience was far from that. I’ve been visiting Bali for 8 years, and this was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve had.Key issues:Food safety concerns: Several guests in our group became sick due to food. Despite confirming multiple times that I had a gluten- and dairy-free diet, I was served food with gluten and have been unwell for four days and counting. The hotel offered a free massage as compensation, which was completely inadequate given the seriousness of the situation. I also noticed other guests with food allergies (lactose intolerance) facing similar issues.Deceptive pricing: When trying to extend my stay, availability was removed from booking platforms, and rates were immediately increased after I made an inquiry. This also happened with other guests, indicating deliberate manipulation of prices during extension requests.Moldy rooms: Some ground-floor rooms had a strong moldy smell, which is concerning for health and comfort.Poor staff response & safety concerns: While the manager Julita was professional and took these issues seriously, the rest of the staff showed little concern for guest wellbeing. Additionally, some balustrading on upper levels was loose and unstable, posing safety risks.Nearby activities: Booking a car via GoJek was difficult, and the hotel charges nearly double the rate for their own drivers.This experience was extremely disappointing, especially from a hotel claiming to focus on wellness.     Amazing little gem near Ubud!This hotel is lovely. An amazing find in the tranquil Bali countryside - which was a welcome break for us! The rooms were simple but clean, cosy and perfectly fine for a few nights. The pool is really nice and has good views. Yoga is definitely worth doing. Breakfast and the evening meal was well presented and of a good standard.
