  Very nice place, small villas attached to the hill with private swimming pool. Petit Hotel is part of Kupu Kupu Barong which belong to the French company L’Occitane.Beautiful views of the jungle, very good local food. 100k for taxi to go to Ubud which is the closest « town ».

  Situated inside the famous Kupu Kupu Barong resort's complex or more precisely is right at the entrance of Kupu Barong villas, This boutique hotel offers a true Bali experience rather than just a holiday. Especially with the local houses that surrounding it and the Balinese temple right in front of it, This place is definitely a perfect choice for those wanting to get an in-depth knowledge about Balinese way of life. In total, this hotel only offers 12 units of beautiful luxurious suites. So, quite nice for those who avoids crowdy place. I recently stayed at the Grande Garden view which allowed us to occupy the room by up to 3 people with two separate beds. The room is spacious, nice and comfortable beds, beautiful interiors and lightings and the bathroom is huge with a bath tub as well as a shower. Lovely stay experience.The highlight of my experience at Petit Hotel is the privillage to use all the public facilities belong to its sisters Kupu Kupu Barong and The Jungle Retreat. Even thought this hotel has its own rooptop swimming pool and a rooftop restaurant forv breakfast, you can always opt to have your brekky at the worldwide famous La View Restaurant. Not far from this hotel, you can explore some of Ubud's most visited and instagrammed spots like; Tegalalang rice terrace which is only 15 minutes drive, The Tjampuhan Ridge walk, The Ubud palace, Ubud market and many more.My Ubud experiences at Petit Hotel Bali are amazing. I'm more than happy to recommend this place to all those of you who are seeking a true Bali experience. Especially if you are into nature and culture or wanted to gather with the locals. Not to forget mentioning the staffs here. They're very well trained. Impecabble service. Great staffs.
