    My wife and I first visited Plataran before we got married, back in June 2018. The memories we made here were so beautiful that, eight years later, we returned with our child.Plataran is even more beautiful, more welcoming, and more memorable than it was eight years ago.Although our two-night stay felt far too short, the memories we created here will stay with us for a lifetime.We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Plataran.     Beautiful hotel in the rice fields

    This was an exceptional hotel!Some highlights included:- Fun cultural activities: We did the jamu making class (preparing the traditional Indonesian drink) and attended a kite-making workshop as well. Special shout-out to Nova, who led the jamu activity! She was very patient and friendly, and it was a really cool experience for us to learn how to make the drink we’d heard so much about–and to be able to taste it afterwards! I can’t wait to use this knowledge to recreate jamu back home. The barong dance/parade was cool, too.- Great staff: Everyone was wonderful, but Nova (Activities) and Yumas (Reception) were stand-outs for their customer service and warmth.- Wildlife: Swallows, geckos, guinea fowl, bats (at a safe distance)- Mini farm: sheep, rabbits, and fish that you can feed- Breakfast: Delicious breakfast options, including pastries, Indonesian foods, mini spring rolls, mini vegetable fritters, assorted juices, eggs, and more- Complimentary tea: Lovely selection of savory and sweet finger foods, plus coffee and tea! This was the perfect pick-me-up in the afternoon.- Photography opportunities: The walking paths through the rice fields, sculptures, and landscaping made for some awesome photos!- Welcome treats: The 5-minute welcome massage, fruit baskets in the room, and frangipani flowers on the bed were delightful!
