Stayed for 1 night and everything is fine, you get what you pay for. but i can suggested for people who want to find rooms with affordable price you can stayed here. It's comfortable enough, room is small, empty kitchen is clean but the bathroom not really clean.

Okay for airport transfer, but wouldn't stay otherwise

We stayed here one night because we were on an early morning flight departing Bali. Unfortunately, the accommodation's pin was (and still is) a little mislocated on Agoda's map (Google Maps too for that matter). It turns out the guesthouse is located a few hundred meters further north, on the east side of the local main road. Even for the two locals from Ubud who transferred us to Pondok 828 it was quite a challenge to locate the guesthouse. If it hadn't been for them calling the accommodation en route, we probably would've never found it.When we arrived at Pondok 828 we couldn't find any form of reception area, nor distinguish local residents from staff. Having finally found a staff member, we enquired (gesturing with hands and feet, as the staff's English was a little lacking) about a ground floor room, because of our early departure the next morning. There weren't any available, so the staff member started to guide us towards a room on the second floor, only to double back halfway up the stairs, because suddenly there actually was a ground floor room available...On the plus side, the room had aircon and a fridge, but the flush toilet had to be hand-flushed (no toilet paper too, although that was to be expected). The backroom looks like it used to function as a kitchenette back in the days, but all that remains is a sink with tap and a lot of dirty and sticky surfaces. Booking websites mention a pool on the property, but we never saw one (although we didn't really search for it either). We found all the photos rather misleading too - in reality they did not reflect at all the room we stayed in.In terms of location there's not much around. You'll be able to find a few cheap places to eat along the local main road, but that's pretty much it. It was fine for our one night stay, but I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here for much longer as a tourist. Also, there's a mosque right behind the guesthouse, so expect to get a wake up call before 6am.That evening we made arrangements with the staff for a taxi to pick us up early next morning. However, the next morning there was no taxi and the agreed time. After a couple of promises of the taxi being "5 minutes" out, it finally arrived 20 minutes later. By then, we had started to worry a bit, but fortunately the taxi driver made up for that by driving like a mental. :) We'd like to think the staff meant well but misunderstood our request. More likely though, rubber time" (from the well-known Indonesian saying) was applied to our request, and that it wasn't actually the taxi driver's fault for being late.
