Location

This hotel occupies a secluded location in the peaceful Balinese village of Kedonganan, only a few minutes' walk from Jimbaran beach. Surrounded by tropical gardens and exotic nature, it offers guests an oasis of calm and relaxation. Kedonganan lies in the southern part of Bali and is one of the most popular regions on the island. Nevertheless, it is able to preserve its separate cultural identity and attracts visitors with appealing sights. The transfer time to Ngurah Rai airport is around 10 minutes and offers long-haul travellers excellent connections to the international transport network.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 46 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A mini fridge and a tea/coffee station are standard features. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. We have been coming to puri bambu for over 20 years, staff and owners are now like family.. always clean, aircon great in the rooms.. pool is large (our kids love it) food and service always amazing :)

Hidden haven close to beach, restaurants, and airport. Great Budget Hotel

Nestled quietly in Jimbaran, this budget hotel is clean and simple. Beautiful traditional gardens, featuring orchids, stag horn ferns, and a large pool. It is walking distance to the restaurants and beach. The rooms are large and basic, with excellent air conditioning. Our visit was short and excellent start to our holiday. A great place to relax and recharge. If you were to stay at the end of your break, quick and easy to get back to the airport. Would definitely come back.

BEAUTIFUL GARDEN RETREAT

We recently stayed 4 nights at this lovely garden hideaway in Denpasar, Bali. Located just 15 minutes from the international airport it offers a quiet retreat from the busy streets of the city. It is only a short walk from Jimbaran Bay and the numerous seafood restaurants located on this famous stretch of sand. A great place to have a drink or meal and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean.Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a king size bed, full bathroom, air conditioning and a balcony that overlooked the pool and beautiful gardens. We spent each morning enjoying our coffee listening to the sounds of the area. The staff was exceedingly friendly, helpful and there when we needed anything – even meeting us at check in with a refreshing fruit drink. Tea, coffee and water was available 24 hours making it easy to refill our water bottles. The food was delicious and the dining area located in a beautiful outdoor setting among their many tropical plants and flowers. It made us want to linger and soak in the paradise that is Bali! I highly recommend the Puri Bambu and would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Bali!

Beautiful, quiet place

Very beautiful hotel, extremely well curated and decorated. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, super clean. The location is great if you come straight for the airport, but besides the nearby seaside front with seafood restaurants there isn’t much around (walking distance), so expect having to drive around to visit Southern hotspots, like Canggu etc.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on arrival in Bali. It is close to the airport by car and the hotel offers free pick up and drop off. The hotel is well maintained and clean but as mentioned showing its age - which I think adds to the character. We had breakfast included because we stayed 3 nights and it was delicious and the ambiance upstairs overlooking the pool was a great way to start the day. We enjoyed a free massage and went back for another. Easy walking distance to the beach via the back street close to the fish markets where you can choose your seafood and have it cooked for a few dollars a kg next door with greens, rice and a cold Bintang. The beach comes to life during the evening when the seafood restaurants place their chairs and tables along the beach and the local kids come out to play soccer or swim. I would definitely recommend Puri Bambu restaurant for reasonably priced meals for lunch and dinner and accomodation.
