Staying here was amazing. The staff were super kind and welcoming to us. Whether we asked for towels, more toilet paper, or for whatever we needed. Also, if you wake up early enough you can get a delicious free breakfast. The banana pancakes are the best I've ever had. The location was great, within walking distance to great sites. Loved my stay here! Definitely recommend.

We wanted a few nights of cheap accommodation and that is what we got- so no compliants, for <AU $20 for 2 persons it was a done deal. The place is reminiscent of the losmans we all stayed in back in the 70's and 80's. That is possibly when it was built and little has been done to it since. It is a 700m walk to the main road , which is good as it is quite chaotic in Ubud. If you head away from ubud from the guesthouse you can walk up to a beautiful area of rice paddies and freshness ( ignore the villas going up there :( ) and you get an idea what the area used to be like. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily, rooms and bathrooms were old but with hot water and flush toilets. These look to have been added fairly recently. A little verandah at the back of each room is a nice place to sit. The pool is ok, seemed fairly clean. Breakfast is simple but fine- no other food is served. This is a pity as some times it would be nice not to go out but to eat in. The night we arrived after 9 we were too tired to walk back into town. An alternative would be for them to have a list of deliveries/takeouts for people to use. So, if you're happy with cheap and old and walking each day- an easy walk- then this is fine. Nothing flashy but ok. A preschool operates at the banjar opposite which we found cute but not if you want a sleep in. Road can be noisy too with motorbikes so ask for one away from road.

The place is cheap, with a pool. Quite a distance from the center, therefore not noisy or busy. Breakfast included, although not so rich; banana pancakes recommended! Owners are welcoming, but keep to themselves. Will help with advice or transportation. Overall value for the money.

Cheap and a little far away from the main road. Puri Bebengan was cheap, very cheap, but that wasn't an excuse for it to be quite dirty. The room is quite spacious, you have a little terrace facing a canal and some trees. The wifi is perfect and the breakfast is very nice.Godd staff!

Cute little place near the end of the road, about 5 minutes walk from the main street. Good value for a private villa, nice and very accommodating staff, and yummy home made breakfast (try the banana pancakes!). The villas could use a fresh coat of paint, and newer linens to really give customers the best experience. Rooms by the road may be a bit noisier than the rooms farther into the resort so try to request that if you're concerned about hearing road noise. Fan rooms stay fairly cool as there are trees to help shade and windows on both sides so you can get a cross breeze at night.
