    Basic stay in Canggu

    We stayed in putu guest house 2 for one night. We came back late so only used it to sleep and for that purpose it is a good spot! However, if staying more nights I would recommend taking a bit more luxe (bathroom toilet combination was a bit poor, room is not very stylish). Location is good, located close to the beach and restaurants + shops. If you are here just to party and explore this is fine.

    BEDBUGS!!! Be aware

    The place is lovely except the BEDBUGS. Search the bed but they are hard to spot. Had 39 bites after 2 days. Took almost 2 weeks for the bites to disappear. After some arguing we check out earlier and moved as fast as possible.

    Stayed here for 6 nights by myself. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have air conditioning. Bathroom has warm water with good water pressure. Add a swimming pool and a nice yard to the mix and I'd say it's a good deal for 20€/night. Location is also quite nice. Walking distance from Berawa beach and its surf breaks. I would however recommend renting a scooter from them as it is only 50 000 / a day and makes your life a lot easier.Only downside is that if there are bigger groups staying in here it get really noisy easily. I recommend requesting a room from third floor if available.

    Worth the visit!

    We stayed at putu's guest house for one night. The room (including the bathroom) was sparkly clean. The mattress was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and included a special Putu's Jaffle. I will definitely come back!

    Must stay in Pemuteran!

    Putu guest house is a must stay place in Pemuteran. Putu and his wife are so friendly and helpful with everything from booking tours (we paid less than others on the same snorkel tour thanks to Putu's connections) to making your stay more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and delivered right to your room. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and the guesthouse provides free snorkel equipment. The pool is lovely to lounge at in the early morning or mid afternoon. And the outdoor bathrooms are fabulous. Lots of great restaurants close by. Bonus that it's one of few guesthouses in the area where you won't be woken up by a rooster. They also have an adorable dog!
