Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Mendire under coconut palms right on the hotel's private beach, which sprawls 1 km.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 70 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Rooms

    This is a lovely resort. The rooms are good but a little dated. The grounds are beautiful as are the staff.

    Location at the beach is good but does limit you with regard to exploring or enjoying the city. Restaurant is very nice but the prices are quite high compared to other cities and stays we’ve been in Bali. Our deluxe room was in a disappointing building much in need of restoration in my opinion. The shower tiles were slippery to dead if not grabbing yourself or being unaware. Breakfast buffet is nice with good assortment.     Disappointing but no fault of the hotel

    We booked 4-12 May. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the gardens one of the best we have seen in over 30 years of visiting Bali. We booked a Premier Ocean Suite which had fabulous sea views from 2 terraces. We loved it but the spiral staircase was a bit daunting. It felt a bit unstable but we thought we would give it a day or two. Unfortunately they were installing an elevator in our building and when the drilling began we decided to move. Oki was terrific in trying to make sure we were comfortable. He carried our luggage down over 70 stairs to an Ocean Facing Cottage as I really wanted an Ocean view. The cottage was a lot smaller but the view was amazing. As the government is building a coastal footpath we watched diggers and trucks pass constantly and the noise and the dust got too much. Oki once again stepped up and moved us to a room with a partial ocean view. A nice room but on the 6th day when there were 3 diggers and constant noise we had to check out. We were disappointed because all the staff were lovely and the pool was clean despite the dust. While sitting at the pool, diggers were working carting rocks 20 metres in front of us. Cinta at reception apologised and was very understanding and professional. She arranged for us to be refunded the 2 days. I don't know how long this work will continue and it is no fault of the hotel but I can't recommend Ramayana until it is complete.
