Location

The hotel is located at the heart of Kuta, around a 20-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, while Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, is about 40 minutes away. Very Misleading Pricing

Be very very careful before booking this hotel. I already live in Bali & was wanting a change of hotel so I was looking online & saw the Restu Hotel on Legian Street, I looked at there website & there room prices direct with the hotel which was $25.00 a night including breakfast. So I decided to go to & have a look at the hotel directly which in this case was a very good idea. I went to the reception & spoke to a young boy who could hardly speak English or understand what I was saying luckily I had my Indonesian girlfriend with me, I asked about the room prices which I told him I saw on there website direct & asked if I could view the Deluxe room which I saw on there website I also told him I would like a long term stay 6 months which he struggled to understand but my girlfriend related that to him he said no problem for 6 months. Then I asked to view the Deluxe room which he showed me nothing like what it looks like on there website but still ok, so we went back to reception & I asked him how much the price was per night to my surprise he said $35.00 a night when I questioned him about the price that on there direct website it was $25.00 a night he said no the price direct with the hotel is $35.00 a night so I asked him can I speak to the hotel manager he said the person wasn't available. So be very very careful when booking this hotel there website says 1 price & when you go to the hotel in my case it was $10.00 a night more. So I walked 350 up Legian Street to the Legian Paradiso Hotel which was much nicer the reception staff were amazingly friendly spoke very good English very helpful showed me a Super Deluxe Garden View Room which was much nicer than the Restu hotel & the price was $32.00 a night including a buffet breakfast. So booked in to the Legian Paradiso Hotel.

Big room, clean, air con perfect, service perfect, food great, mostly Indonesian no eggsOnly bad thing was water pressure of yes it had a bath wowowowowo. Pool temp to high needs shade.Price comparison you can get more modern else where

Book in advance for all of our stay in this hotel, great location and easy to find place to eat, tourist street, night walk, and friendly staff, room looks renew, but breakfast is not for us, should to learn for vegetarian breakfast

Booked Standard Room - One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

They made sure they took the payment first and provided me one of the worst standard rooms ever. The bathroom was a disaster.. The bath tub wouldn't drain the water while you are in shower,so you will be standing in a soapy dirty water and the is a gash on the tub that make the dirty water flow through under the sink covering the entire floor. The closet looks worse than a bars would be. It was a nightmare . The room is alright, but the TV in the room is probably an antique piece.When I requested to change the room, they asked me an extra 150,000 idr for an upgraded room.If anyone is planning to stay here.. Go for the deluxe room, as those rooms are pretty decent.

Not as beautiful as my first stay

This is my second time stay in Restu Bali because my previous visit was a wonderful experience, but NOT at this second visit. I got a budget room located at second floor. The building was really old, the bed was not as descent as the bed in first floor rooms. The TV is old and small. The bathroom smelly (I had to clean it by myself to get rid of the smell) and the bathtub not fuctioning well. I am still recommending this hotel to everyone since the staffs are very friendly, they have good swimming pool and the location is great. Just keep in mind: DO NOT STAY AT THE SECOND FLOOR ROOMS.
