If I can choose to not give a star that would be the rating. 👎🏼While conveniently located, the place appeared quite dated with a lot of stains and marks on furniture in the bedroom we booked. The pool looked dirty and there was the smell of garbage in the air similar to other reviews. It is very different from the photos on their website or even on here. The sheets in our bedroom smelled like urine, the staff did offer to change it but the room still had an awful smell - the stench carried over to the curtains as well. 🤢We couldn’t stomach staying so tried to ask for a refund for the remaining nights but was left with a lot of back and forth between management and reception. They offered a discount for lunch as compensation but with the state of the place, I wouldn’t even try to eat their food.In the end we upped and left - booked another hotel that was cheaper and 100x cleaner!!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment ground floor. Walked outside and pool was right there. Tables and chairs located by the pool. Also another area to sit and watch the world go by.Staff we just wonderful. Polite, interested to what we were doing and couldn’t help us enough. Food was okay. WiFi not so good inside our room but great when outside by pool or at other sitting area. Room was clean and was freshened up each day of our stay. Downside could be a bit far to walk to beach but always taxis available and so cheap.Recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Legian.

Have just stayed at Sara Residence for 2 weeks. First up, the staff. They are all so friendly,helpful,respectful,with a whole lot of fun as well. They will do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The beds and pillows are so good!! We had the 2 bedrooms opening right on to small pool,(and quiet). Small kitchen, ceiling fans and air conditioning 👍. When you walk out the front door, turn left, and walk straight down as far as you can go,(15 min); you’re at the beach, with a ton of shops and several small supermarkets to get your needs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be had at the hotel as well. All in all, a small quieter place to stay that has all your needs. 👍👍

What a little gem! Helpful and friendly staff. We had a 2 bed villa walking out to the pool area. Very clean and spacious. Close to shops, spa and eateries. Dinners at the Residence is delicious and well prepared. I will definitely stay there again.

I came to this establishment cause I already stayed 2 years ago I asked to stay in the same room cause it has a nice gazebo for private use just 2 meters from the bedroom window, sadly there was no gazebo anymore this year for compensation I had a swam instead wich is a mosquitoes farmI booked the room for 20 nights After a week they decided to start working to build a new floor in my swam so I wake up with 2 guys I meter from my window starring at my wife naked in the bed .I tried to stay calm and I referred this to the manager In any place a customer pays for a room you don't expect to have workers during your occupancy I been reasonable And I agree with him to start work after 11.00 so I would had time to have breakfast, get ready and leave the room10 day after I wake up again with a guy on my window watching my wife nakedHow is that possible?I think its unreasonable to be in a Muslim country and have this kind of accident happen twice
