  Budget Friendly Hotel in a Great Location

  The hotel is very centrally located with just a short walk into Malaga centre. There is a very convenient car park also below the hotel that you can use for €12 for 24hr if using the hotel. It is quite small however so do be ware of how many spaces there are.It is clearly a budget hotel, the room wasn’t the comfiest but it was clean, the staff were friendly and it did the job for a night.

  Decent hotel, but far from the centre

  Stayed here for one night in January 2026.Pros: 1) There is an underground parking right below the hotel.2) The front desk is operational 24 hours.3) The front desk staff was helpful and courteous.4) The tariff is reasonable.5) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality is good.6) The WIFI is free with good speed and connectivity.Cons:1) The location is not great. It is far from the city centre and there aren't great options for eating next to the hotel.2) The rooms and bathrooms are tiny with very little maneuverability.

  Perfect for a short visit

  Whenever we visit Malaga, which is often, we always stay at this hotel. It is centrally located and very close to the metro from the airport and also the main railway station. The breakfasts are superb for a hotel of this size and the staff are very helpful and efficient. The rooms, though small, are functional and have all you need for a short stay. Although there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms there are any number of excellent cafés within a short walking distance.

  Fabulous stay!

  Our second visit in 2 years. As last year the room was very clean and comfortable and so quiet. The housekeeping team were really efficient. The breakfast is always fresh and tasty with lots of choice, it certainly sets you up for the day ahead, the team behind the scenes work hard to keep the stocks replenished and general area clean and tidy. The reception team are so friendly and helpful, a special mention must go to Begona and Valentina who both kindly and patiently allowed us to practice our Spanish on them, thank you! On hearing we were staying for 11 nights, we received a lovely poem about staying in Malaga and some chocolates, such a lovely, kind gesture. Rest assured we will be going back next year, our third year in a row! See you then!

  Not bad for the money. Service lacking

  My friends and I stayed together for 4 nights. We had 2 separate rooms. The facilities are basic but perfectly functional although the air conditioning was not very good, which is a problem in 30C heat. Unfortunately the housekeeping was lacking. One room was serviced properly but the other was not. For two days no service was provided and when we raised this with reception I was surprised to effectively be told it was our fault for not reporting the issue sooner. I am not sure how we were supposed to know this would happen. It later transpired that the housekeeping staff visited the room but chose not to do anything as there were clothes left on the bed. The next day no one from the reception had provided any communication about the lack of service. There were lots of cleaners around but nobody told us why the second room was not serviced for two days. When we raised the matter again the manager from the reception she was very rude. There was no apology for the lack of service and we were blamed, citing the clothes on the bed. My friend later asked for a late checkout for which he was charged €15. That is not unreasonable but I would have expected given the poor service that it may have been complimentary. You do not expect five star service at an Ibis Budget but we were still paying and should have been able to expect the basics. Of the staff did not went to clean the room they should at the very least have communicated this to the guest.
