    Avoid at all costs – no service, no sleep, no refund

    I had booked a stay at Hotel Suma but had to leave immediately due to serious shortcomings in the room that made it impossible to sleep. I reached out both through Booking.com and directly at the front desk, but received no help or solution whatsoever.The staff even showed me a message from management stating I had to take it up with Booking.com, as they would not handle it themselves. This is not just poor service — it’s complete abandonment of responsibility.In the end, I received no service, spent zero time in the room, and was still charged nearly the full price. Booking.com confirmed the issue was on the property’s side but could not even get a response from them.Unprofessional, unresponsive, and utterly disappointing.Do not trust this hotel with your time or your money.

    Very beautiful gardens and polite friendly staff.

    The staff were incredibly polite and friendly. Providing us with excellent service during our stay, especially Ekka who was so polite and kind. The gardens were very beautiful with many tropical plants, statues and bonsai. The pool was lovely and refreshing. The food in the restaurant was fresh and tasty. The massage was professional and relaxing. When I return to Bali I will stay here again. Any problems we did encounter were quickly solved by the helpful staff. For example, when the air conditioner didn’t work in one of the rooms we had booked they changed rooms for us straight away.

    Love the garden, the room, the vibe and most of all the firendly and helpfull staff and owners. Have been there many times and will come back. They also have a nice restaurant with delicius food and a coffeshop. Close to the ocean but not a beach for swimming.

    Very Low Class for a 3-Star Hotel!!!

    +Beautiful Grounds, Comfortable Bed, Pool looked nice but I didn’t use it-Listing is inaccurate. There is no free filtered water dispenser, only available during breakfast. Single use plastic water bottles placed in room.-I was frequently irritated by cigarette smoke from both staff and tourists. The “nonsmoking” area for breakfast was mere feet away from smoking tourists. Tourists here were extremely loud. I moved after the first night due to horrible noise from the pool area and the male next door frequently yelled very loudly for unknown reasons. He additionally smoked on the balcony and his smoke drifted into my room. After moving, staff goofed off for a couple of hours chatting loudly near my room. I continued to be annoyed by ridiculously loud tourists in nearby rooms as well as their cigarette smoke. -I paid for their pricey private dolphin tour on arrival not realizing that the price was much cheaper in a nearby shop and on the street. I expected they would use a good boat captain, but he was rude. Didn’t even introduce himself and ended the 2-hour tour half an hour early for unknown reasons. I complained to staff about the tour but they didn’t care. Manager ignored my refund request, altho I repeated it several times. -I have been traveling in Asia for over 3 months and rarely have been disappointed in my hotels. I left 2 days early without any refund. I will stick with homestays in the future where hosts actually want guests to have a good experience and cheerfully address any concerns.

    I arrived after a very long drive. I had booked on booking.com and could show the hotel the confirmation email from Booking.com, proof of payment, confirmation number, PIN number, Despite this, the hotel told me they were fully booked and had no room for me. They refused anything to resolve the situation and would not refund the payment. They seemed completely disorganised. They would not call booking.com. I want a refund. seems a scam to me.
