A basic 3 star hotel with no charm

    rating16 Mar 2026

Very basic hotel . We had two rooms over a long weekend . Both were very small. Bathroom was particularly small with small shower. Basic facilities. Kettle with a few coffee sachets provided . Paper cups. We left some chocolate out overnight on the counter near the kettle and had ants all over it on the morning . Welcome was also very much on the cool side . Disappointed given its 4.2 current rating . It wasn’t a terrible experience but I would never recommend . Bed was fine . Quiet area with some nice restaurants 10 min walk away.

    Lovely Paris Stay

    rating18 Jan 2025

We were rarely at the hotel as we spent our days exploring Paris but it was a pleasant stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. We also loved that the hotel was located strategically as we were able to walk to most landmarks and if something was far away, the Metro wasn’t too far. Eric COLIN, Directeur général at Five Boutique Hotel Paris Quartier Latin, responded to this review Dear Sal C,Thank you so much for your review and for the 4/5 rate.We are pleaded to know that you fully enjoyed your stay in our compagny during yout parisian trip.Looking forward to welcome you again, we wish you a safe journey home.Kind Parisian RegardsThe Five Hotel Team

    Not bad not great either

    rating28 Aug 2024

The hotel is in a prime location of Paris, a short walk away from the pantheon and 10 more minutes of walking and you’re at the Norte dam. Plenty of public transport close by so the city is easily explored and it’s tucked away down a side street so there is minimal noise from outside. However the hotel has a unique interior which strangely resembles a dingy bar or stripclub, the rooms are small (to be fair that’s to be expected in Paris) and the bed wasn’t too comfortable. But overall for the price this hotel isn’t a bad choice and it’s fairly well maintained. Eric COLIN, Directeur général at Five Boutique Hotel Paris Quartier Latin, responded to this review Dear Happiness13711088236,First of all we would like to thank you for giving your precious time to write a review here on TripAdvisor. We would also like to thank you for your rating of 3 out of 5.However, we remain sceptical about your opinion of our new, sober design in light, warm colors. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us and your visit to Paris. We wish you a pleasant journey home.Best Parisian Regards,The Five Hotel Team
