The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe.     Tucked away from the madness of the ubud traffic, is the peaceful Tanah Semugen. Plus sides - Wayman the host is a very friendly guy and goes out of his way to have a chat with you every day. The breakfast is 10/10. Every morning you get a fresh fruit juice, a plate of mixed fruit and a hot option. My favourite was the avocado & eggs on toast, while my husband loved the banana pancakes. Downside (for me )- cleanliness, it definitely could be cleaner. Room was tired and in need of some tlc. For the price we paid we cannot complain as the breakfast alone was worth the cost.

    Fantastic stay, Wayan, the host is very attentive. Messages were sent from him prior to our stay for directions to the property.Just off the main road, you will find this oasis of tranquillity. Breakfast to order and brought up to your room to eat on your balcony.Very clean rooms and lovely environment, near to main areas with lots of bars and restaurants.Absolutely loved Ubud and would definitely stay here again.

    I stayed in four places in UBUD and I’m so glad that this was my last place, it made my trip!!!! Wayan and Nyoman and their family are beautiful and amazing hosts…. I was genuinely sad to leave!!!The room was beautiful with the most gorgeous outlook to a beautiful garden and the pool with a large balcony with chairs and a table that u can sit at. The air conditioning was great and the shower pressure was awesome!!!!! The room was spotless and cleaned every day and the hosts even put fresh flowers in the room which was so sweet. The breakfast is better than what I had at some cafes!!!! So delicious especially the pineapple pancake and scrambled eggs and avocado toast!!!! You also get a huge plate of fruit and fresh juice that you can choose from…. The breakfast is very generous. You get two bottles of fresh water every day and free refills. The bed is so comfortable and I had amazing sleeps!!!! And the linen is very clean.I loved chatting them daily and learning more about their beautiful culture. The pool area is beautiful.The location of the property is great it’s close to the centre of ubud and in a really quiet area with lots of great cafes, restaurants, shops and places that you can arrange activities. I cannot wait to go back there and could not recommend it more highly ❤️

    Five nights with my wife. Lovely warm host. On a quiet street tucked down an alley. Perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud.Very quiet even though other guests.Large room with great shower.We will be back.

    This delightful venue has delightful spacious rooms.Set in beautiful gardens and close to everything, this is a ‘must stay’ venue and a wonderful experience. The owner Wayan was incredibly helpful, often going out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable. Home cooked breakfast is delivered to your balcony each morning. I enjoyed fresh fruit and juices with pancakes each day and there are a number of lovely meals to choose from. At the end of the lane is a fabulous music venue The Hideout which have excellent bands on each night. You can’t here any noise from your room though and this is also a benefit of staying here as many venues in Bali don’t share this advantage.Incredible value for money too.
