    We adored every moment of our stay at Bale Gede. The hotel is made up of 12 little villas, this made for a very romantic and intimate setting. The pool was the perfect size and depth and was always clean. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. You can rent a moped from the hotel itself when visiting, this is very cheap.The included breakfast was delicious and included a freshly made fruit juice every morning - we left Bale Gede feeling very healthy and refreshed !

    The hotel is made up of balinese wooden huts which have a small bathroom built on to the back. The rooms are pretty compact, but reasonably appointed for the price. The hotel is a bit out of the way, so you'll need a scooter to get around. It was probably too far from the island hot-spots for my liking, and it's still on a relatively busy road so it's quite noisy, particularly because the rooms are wooden so there is no insulation.Our room had quite a lot of mosquitoes as well, probably because the wooden huts aren't really sealed, and every time you open the bathroom door they can fly in. We used the mosquito net, but still managed to get a few bites overnight. The pool area is quite lovely considering its a budget hotel, though in the sun all day so the water is unpleasantly warm. Breakfast was quite good, and the staff were always very friendly and made the experience so enjoyable. The real highlight of this hotel is the staff.It's a great budget-friendly option for those who don't mind exploring the island on a scooter to get around.

    You must stay here!!! If there is a place that we will always remember its here! They were all so lovely and provided us an amazing experience. It was my partners birthday and they prepared a lovely cake and even played happy birthday in Portuguese! We felt at home and it felt so good after being away from home for so long. We loved staying here and we will stay here again when we come back to Lembongan. They taught us how to ride a motorcycle, and we felt free riding around the island thanks to them. The room is very cleaned and tidy and always smells very nice! The food is soooo tasty. A big thank you to all the staff.

    Our family (with two toddlers) was able to completely relax at Bale Gede. Staff were especially welcoming, helpful, and kind (particularly Komang and Wayan)- not to mention patient with our kids. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is one of the nicest we saw at any hotel, and had a good shallow section for the kids. The food at Bale Gede is among the best on Lembongan and we loved our breakfast omelettes and the freshest juices, but also had excellent dinners here. It’s an easy five minute walk down to the restaurants and cafes near Mushroom Beach. We would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending it to everyone we know. A good place to relax.

    We stayed only for a night but it was really good. The rooms are designed to ensure sand can be easily cleaned esp the bathrooms. The staff is super. The pool is 24 x7 .. you can also chill by the poolside while you enjoy your beer.. there is a retro restaurant right next to it where they played live music which was amazing.. the staff helped us with shorrlisting the activities in and around the island.
