    Really enjoyed my stay with 2 friends.Due to an accident in Phnom Penh, I needed a place to stay that was wheelchair friendly, and our villa was just fine.I slept on the couch in the living room, and my two friends slept in the king-size bed in the bedroom The toilet seat wasn't screwed down on one side, so that made going to the toilet a bit precarious, but we managed.Staff were friendly and very apologetic when they realised that they missed cleaning our room after our first night Grounds and pools are lovely.A tea towel would be a good addition.The restaurant is close by. Didn't try the food, but it smelt nice.Overall, I felt Janan Villa was well priced and would definitely stay there again

    Absolutely non habitable place this is. As soon as we entered we felt like we have been cheated, nothing like in pictures and place is not fit for human living. We got two bed accommodation, air conditioning did not work in one, no warm water (was told solar system not working on our- it was not our fault), room dirty with mould everywhere, bathroom unclean and unhygienic- see pictures, ants crawling around the accommodation. We came in a late flight so decided to stay a night because it was already 9pm when we reached here. Reported all the issues but nothing got sorted till next day when we decided enough is enough and want o check out early but they will not refund even if they cannot fix things so we decided we keep the keys not let anyone else get trapped here.We went and stayed at a different hotel which was much nicer and only came back to return the keys at the end. We went to visit again to see if they actually done something, guess what nothing done.

    Customer service training wouldn't go amiss

    This was our last stop on the Bali holiday - I'm glad it was only 2 nights. On my 8th visit to Bali - this would be the place that has the most unwelcoming, unfriendly staff. Reception is mainly unattended. The young lady that is sometimes there was nice & helpful, but the older lady obviously would rather be somewhere else. The breakfast was absolutely inedible. & served by unsmiling, unfriendly staff. Choice of scrambled eggs - that was it. When they came, there was so much water on the plates we had to use tissues to mop it up, and it had made the toast inedible. If we had been staying longer we would have paid to have breakfast down the road somewhere. The room was a family room - & that was ok. Separate room for the 3rd adult. Huge bathroom, nice family/kitchen area. Basic plates, cutlery, glasses. Nice big fridge. Kettle - but no tea/coffee/sugar. The saving grace here is the pool - absolutely awesome setting. Otherwise - they don't serve any food & there is not a lot around them. Would definitely not come back.

    Have been staying here a week and it’sa nice place and the staff are pleasant. BUT my room has a power cut 2 days ago as the meter ran out. They topped it up no problem. But today Friday evening, I come home at 20:00 to find no electricity again!I’ve now been waiting in reception for 35 minutes and 50 seconds. The poor receptionist is doing his best, but only the owner, who is not answering her WhatsApp is allowed to top up the electricity - so I’m still waiting… 38 minutes… To put this perspective, I’ve lived in Bali for the last 4 years - it takes 60 seconds with online banking to go top up electricity. Oh, and question, how much did they tip up 2 days ago when it ran it,,, $1???

    Wir sind hier zu Beginn der Coronakriese gestrandet und ich wir waren mit dem Service und dem Entgegenkommen von Janan Villa äusserst zufrieden. We came here at the beginning of the Coronacrisis. We were absolutely happy with cleanlyness and the discountprices given for our longstay. Stuff is absolutely friendly and relaxed.
