Location

The hotel is set in lush gardens and located right on Legian Beach, famous for its sunsets. While offering guests peace and tranquillity, the hotel is also within walking distance of shopping and entertainment areas and the centre of Denpasar is 25 minutes away. Bali's major attractions can easily be reached from the hotel. Bali's International Airport can be easily reached from the hotel by car.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 277 rooms. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden.     A second wonderful stay at Jatakarta, staff all very friendly, beds super comfy, breakfast plenty of choice. Has a laundry place directly at the back of the hotel and close to lots of great restaurants.

    If you’re into a rooms that look like basic hostel accomodation, dated tired and ugly then this place is for you. We booked for 2 night, arrived, looked at our room and promptly left, there’s nothing nice about this tired old place. You’ll find nicer accommodation in Bali.

    Great resort. Breakfast buffet is to die for. Themed dinner nights amazing food and value for money. It was my 60th birthday and the first night in the restaurant they sang me happy birthday and brought a cake over. Loved the pool. There is one pool on the other side to the bigger pools which we loved as it was quiet and 95% adults only. Nice to have an area away from kids and pool bar music if wanted quiet time. I had booked one bedroom apartment (see below negative comment) and once I complained was moved to a deluxe hotel room which was much much better and really enjoyed the stay after that. The spa was to die for. I had a 3 hour session and it was just fabulous.I have to warn travellers about one bedroom apartment. I feel like the resort itself and all booking platforms should describe those rooms as noisy! What they don't tell you is the one bedroom apartments are in a separate block right at the front on JL Padma Utara directly across the road from Fat Buddha and other bars that play very loud music until late at night. Great music by the way but not when want to sleep! The rooms are not soundproof so no way of escaping it. The voices coming from the karaoke bar 2 doors down might make you want to jump off the balcony ha ha.

    The staff were beautiful, and I must stress that point because… The rooms are dodgy and we got salmonella from the hotel eggs. Most of us ended up on IVs and most people we talked to got sick.

    💥 Worst Hotel Experience of My Life – Disgusting and Disrespectful

    ⭐️ 1 Star – Absolutely Disgraceful, Do NOT Stay HereThis is without question one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world — and I travel a lot.Checked in 20 Jan and was put on the 3rd floor with no lift despite having a knee injury. When I explained this, the manager literally laughed at me. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in any hotel in my life.The rooms were old, filthy, run down and full of mould (I’m highly allergic). Even the room downstairs was mouldy. I became sick and had to call an on-call doctor which cost me $600.On top of that: • No hot water in my room • No cold water in my friend’s roomWhen I was clearly unwell, I asked the concierge to help carry my suitcase — he ignored me and kept taking selfies. When my Grab driver arrived, the concierge abused him and said guests must use hotel transport.I contacted Booking.com and the hotel refused any resolution.This place is dirty, unsafe, poorly maintained, and staffed by people who clearly do not care. Save yourself the stress and stay literally anywhere else.
