The property is located on Candidasa Beach on Bali Island, 10 km away from Padang Bay Harbour. It is close to many interesting places such as Besakih, Tirta Gangga Water Palace and Tenganan, which is home to the Central Workshop of Balinese Communities’ Traditional Handicrafts. It is also approximately 30 minutes by car from Amlapura and a 2-hour drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 47 rooms. The 24-hour reception desk makes arrival and departure effortless. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. One of my favorites in Bali

Yes, although this place is not what it once was....(I saw it in it’s heyday 1990 but as a young budget traveller then couldn’t afford it then! )....It is a charming relaxing spot to spend a few ocean front days . They usually have about 6 functioning rooms ($20-$30 per night) and the staff goes out of there way to make you feel welcome in a genuine way (not the forced fake charm which is sadly becoming more common in Bali)Give the place a try!

This hotel is not for those that want sleek, new, upmarket type experience.In its day this place would have been absolutely magnificent. The owners have let two thirds of the resort buildings deteriorate terribly where birds inhabit two of the buildings completely. However the bottom suits of one tower are still functioning and let out to the public.The views and its location is simply amazing! We didn’t have any hot water and the accommodation is fairly basic but the rooms are clean and our group of 6 had the entire hotel to ourselves! Staff were keen to help whenever anything was needed. No bar in the resort but they are happy for you to BYO by the pool etc so it’s actually better in my opinion! Supermarket is across the road for anything you need, massage just a two minute walk. Breakfast is served under the patio right on the ocean where turtles swim up everyday as you have breakfast. The food served for brekky is by alacart and was really good.We spent three nights here, cost us $300 for the six of us and included breakfast! Totally enjoyed our stay and would come back.We spent most of our time by the pool taking in the view.If you are happy to have basic (but clean) accommodation and more than likely have the place to yourself to relax. Give it a try!!!

Brilliant poolside chalet

We stayed in the small bungalow beside the infinity pool with views over the sea. My wife wanted to stay there the full duration of our holiday and there's plenty of amenities out on the street. Ok, the two outer buildings look run down, but the middle area is fine. So, I agree with Myra F's assessment of the hotel.

Ok it's a long way from 5 star...but an experience in itself staying here. A VERY tired old hotel...but we found it spotlessly clean, the staff are exceptionally lovely and it has the best swimming pool in Candidasa. This must have been an amazing place in its day...but sadly it's current owner has no interest in keeping it maintained or spending any money on it. The Manager is outstanding...a dignified man who works really hard trying (again at the odds) to keep up standards. The breakfast was great and served beside the pool - on our case early as we had a day trip planned. The staff are super helpful & hard working.A very different place to stay!

We arrived at the property to find it looking abandoned, which would have been fine is the rooms were clean as we knew we were booking a basic accommodation. We have travelled a lot in Indonesia and Thailand on similar budgets and never had such a bad experience. The rooms were dirty, dated and damp.Bedding and towels were disgusting too.The bathrooms were not fit to use, due to them seam long. It been cleaned in 20 years, no hot water and when I questioned staff they shrugged their shoulders and gave no other option.This hotel after talking to locals is bankrupt and really should not be available to book to tourists.Avoid at all costs.
