A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and dishwasher. A washing machine is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding are available. Water sports enthusiasts are offered diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and yoga.     A luxury stay that is very reasonably priced...

    Loved this serene resort with a wonderful restaurant on a black sand beach. We visited for 3 nights before heading on a cruise from Bali to Bangkok. The atmosphere and service level were exceptional. A very well maintained property. The villas are huge and all are an easy walk to either of the restaurants on site. The villa pools are amazing. We spent every afternoon in our pool or relaxing on the oversized lounge bed. The only minor complaint I would note is that the bathroom can get extremely warm late afternoon and early evening making it a bit uncomfortable when getting a shower and dressed for dinner. The bathroom is huge and closed off from the kitchen, lounge area and sleeping area with a door. When you go into the bathroom late afternoon it can be sweltering because the shower area is open. The bathroom has the ceiling area above the shower open which is a nice concept except it gets too warm and does allow insects to enter your bathroom area. Insects were not a problem at the resort; I did encounter one snail and one small spider in the bathroom area but no insects in the rest of our villa and I did not get one mosquito bite during our visit [and mosquitos love me]. Housekeeping does a wonderful job at this resort.The restaurants are very nice. The included breakfast is ala carte with a variety of options. We did enjoy lunch at Moonstone [which has a different menu than Standing Stone] one afternoon but preferred the atmosphere at Standing Stone Pool and Restaurant. The restaurant offered a special menu every night and often had live entertainment. One evening the rooftop area was available for dinner and one evening we had a private beachside dinner. The food at the restaurant was consistently good. Shuttle service is offered to a marketplace and to a beach. The mall in Surin was very nice but we did not feel that the beach was worth the visit...it could not compare to the lovely pool areas at the resort, or to our private villa pool area.We also did a complimentary 30 minute photo shoot at the resort. The photographer was very talented and does not pressure you to purchase photos...however, the photos were so good; we had to purchase a few.We totally enjoyed our brief visit to this outstanding resort and would definitely recommend visiting if you are heading on a cruise embarking in Bali. Our package included a oneway transfer...it was great not to have to arrange our transfer to the cruise port.

    My third visit since Oct 2025 and as always The Royal Purnama delivers and keeps getting better with each visit. What doesn’t change is the warm hospitality and service of all staff who all have a beautiful smile on their faces , greeting “selamat pagi” while walking to the restaurant in the morning for breakfast which by the way is sumptuous and full of flavour. Some restaurant staff recognised me and served up my toast “extra pedas” with a side of chopped red chillies which I had mentioned during my first visit in Oct 2025This time around I stayed at the “Jepun” villa which was just as nice as “Cempaka” I had stayed during my previous stays. The “welcome home” decoration on the bed was definitely touching. The place feels like it is indeed a home away from home. I can’t wait to return for the fourth time. Suksma Royal Purnama team !
