Location

This property is located in an area commonly referred to as 'The Bukit'. Nearby attractions include the stunning Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple, where a traditional Balinese performance can be seen (about 8 km). Dreamland Beach is also just a 15-minute drive away and it is around 9 km to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana. The vibrant shopping area of Kuta can be reached within just 40 minutes’ drive, and the hotel is 25 km south of Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Facility

The 35 rooms and 10 suites have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 25 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. At this resort, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the English-speaking staff. A check-in/check-out service is available at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The resort has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. The wide range of activities offered at the resort ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, crazy golf, golf and fishing. With paddle boating, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and a solarium. An entertainment programme and live music are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    We spent three incredible days at The Kayon Valley Resort, and it was truly one of the most luxurious and exceptional travel experiences we have ever had.The resort itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Every detail of the property reflects a commitment to excellence, and the level of service is unlike anything we have experienced in our many years of travel.What made our stay especially memorable was our butler, Nara, who went above and beyond for us time and time again. He arranged transportation, booked a day for us at Sunday’s Beach Club, delivered breakfast, coordinated laundry service, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. He was incredibly flexible and adjusted plans whenever needed, making everything seamless and stress-free. At one point, an aggressive monkey tried to steal our breakfast on our patio, and Nara came running to help us immediately.The true measure of exceptional hospitality came on our final day when my husband, Tim, became ill before our long journey back to the United States. Nara quickly arranged for a doctor to come directly to our room, where Tim was able to receive an IV and medical care. The manager of the butler team also personally came to our room to check on him and make sure we were doing okay.What impressed me most was how genuinely cared for we felt. While Tim was resting and recovering, I spent a day at the beach, and I never worried because I knew Nara was checking in and making sure he was taken care of. The level of personal attention, kindness, and compassion was extraordinary.We have traveled extensively around the world, and I can honestly say this is one of the finest resorts we have ever visited. The service was impeccable, the facilities were beautiful, and every member of the staff made us feel welcome and valued.Thank you, Nara, and thank you to everyone at The Kayon Valley Resort for making our stay so special. We will never forget it and hope to return someday.

    We had the most amazing stay at Ungasan. The view was breathtaking and the stay was wonderful. Rizka and Dewa were incredible! They were attentive, kind, and always available for anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Th resort was beautiful and the villas were enormous, clean, and well decorated. We hope to come back again.
