  DO NOT STAY HERE! If you want to see a mouse run across your floor before 5am, then you will be fine. If you want to try to have an issue resolved and then have employees outright lie or even laugh when you call to request for help with the mouse, well this is the place where they have mastered those skills! When I called later in the day, the gentleman said a manager would call me back... No one did. When it was followed up upon, the employee lied and said there was no record of my phone calls, which was not smart because I made them from my cell phone (the in-room phone was filthy and probably 40 years old).The waffle batter dispenser was broken so the worker shoved her unclean fingers (dirty nails and all)up the spigot and tried to fix it. When unsuccessful, she opened the machine, exposing a container with dried, caked on batter.You may want to bring protection and get a tetanus shot because who knows what you might experience here. Luckily I didn't get bedbugs! I guess that was my positive takeaway! I stayed in mid-March 2026.   Decent sized room, front desk is helpful, though watch as they tried to take our deposit as an extra charge (still fighting it with the credit card company; our room was pre-paid!)   Convenient and Clean

  Nice, well-maintained hotel. Most important; clean room and hotel facilities. No bugs or creepy crawlers seen anywhere. Clean bed and linens, comfortable bed. Blackout drapes were a plus for sleeping a little later. Good water pressure, hot water and drainage in the shower. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was the typical; scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, cereal. Plenty of free on-site parking. Short distance, (walk or drive), to Bangor Shopping Mall, restaurants and other stores.   Pardon the long review but justly deserved!

  We use to take yearly shopping trips to Bangor and always stayed at the Quality Inn, Bangor Mall. Did a detour to the US on route between Ont. and NS. as I had not been in years and missed this place.. Nothing has changed,, clean, very comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff that went above and beyond. No request was an issue. Breakfast and amenities met both our needs. Great, safe location to restaurants and shopping.. Sad we could only stay one night.. so.. Asked Daughter and grandson to return with us on Sept.23 for a mini Maine vacation. Again, everything was as great as our last visit.. Staff amazing, right down to the Maintenance man who made our Grandson's first vacation one to remember.. the only reason we moved on to the Comfort Inn was to give us more space with 2 Queen beds for the 4 of us, otherwise could have stayed longer!   Not so great!!!!

  Room was small and unfortunately smelt of urine and strong bleach upon arrival for our 3-night stay. We tried to air the room out but after our days out when we returned it was the same smell. The rest of the room was just ok but as we had a fair amount of luggage so it took up a lot of area which made for very cramped quarters. As a Choice member I would have expected better for the price we paid. Upon check out we mentioned the room smell which they were aware of simply saying that the previous guests had dogs and that was the bad odor...my answer to that is why did you put us in this room when I had requested a pet free room????
