Location

This hotel is situated by an isolated sandy beach in a peaceful, ancient fishing village. It is set in a private, quiet and romantic retreat in the district of Canggu, only 15 minutes from Seminyak with its nightlife, restaurants and shopping, 20 minutes’ drive from Kuta and 35 minutes’ drive from Denpasar. The hotel lies a mere 30 minutes from the airport.

Facility

22 rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service (for a fee) gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Extra comforts include a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee) offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example tennis and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding. With windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the complex include a gym, billiards and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    This hotel is value for your money rooms are big well maintained for there age Breakfast is ok and the swimming pool is nice You are only 2 minutes walk from some of the best beach seafood restaurants And I had some of the best fish I’ve ever eaten You are close to the airport and Kuta restaurants if you wish

    Very kind staff trying their best but hotel is very dated, no atmosphere and just lacking in soul. Reception area is basic, not very welcoming or inviting. Found Jimbaran in general to be very quiet and in desperate need of a clean up. We cut.our losses and moved to another part of Bali. Not a great experience.

    Falling apart

    The positive points: located in a big garden on the beach. But the hotel urgently needs a major renovation - it seems as if time standing still since many years… the infrastructure falling apart, linen and bed sheets grey and not clean, restaurant low quality and staff not motivated. I do not recommend this hotel.

    Was very disappointed in this hotel..nothing resort like about it. The architecture is nice my room was huge, the grounds were lush but overall it is dated and tired, So many steps and no porter to meet you and take your bags, not a good first impression. The bed linen was not clean, grey and stained. The bathroom smelled mouldy. The ornate double wooden doors to the room were warped so you had to slam them to shut and even when locked there was a gap between them. All day all night you would hear people slamming their doors. The pool was nice and you have direct access to the beach. The sun lounges were free. The restaurant food was very ordinary, no spices, very bland. The staff, while polite, were unenthusiastic, very slow and lacked the warmth you experience in other Bali hotels. No one smiled to greet you. Location wise perfect if you just want to relax and hang out at the hotel for most of your stay, otherwise there is a walk to the main road and not much nearby, or a walk along the beach side to the fish market restaurants. That’s why the hotel should have more food/drink/activity options. The main road is so busy and not easy to walk on the footpath as so many people park across it. This hotel has the potential to find its past glory if the owners/management were willing to spend time and money,, in the meantime it truly is such a shame.
