  Horrible is close enough

  After looking at the pictures in one of hotelier websites, with its spacious room, we decided to give it a shot. However when we arrive, the only thing confirmed is the big room. The rest is not.The place is not easy to find as it is actually in an alley with a lot of motorbike traffic. Cars aren't allowed to go through the alley. As we entered the establishment, the staff were actually lounging on the floor playing game on their cellphones. They were serving us while holding and playing game. At one time, one of the staff cursed in local languange at his game.Once we entered our room, we found the place was old and in much-needed-maintenance condition. The bathroom door was rickety, the shower torrent was very small, the towels were greyed due to old age and used. And it smelled of sewer.The worst part was the bed. It was sandy and dusty. Dark spots and stains could be noticed right away. And it seemed to be infested by bedbugs. We slept and woke with itches all over us.Also, the only complimentary given was soap. There was no shampoo, no brush, no tissue/napkins, even no bottled water.Luckily, we only booked it for a night. We left as early, and as soon, as possible to our next destination, Ubud. Never have we been so eager to leave our bed and hotel.In the end, even if it were the last place to stay in Bali, I still will NOT recommend the place.

  One of our worst experiences

  Okay let's start from the beginning: It was really hard to find the place and our taxi driver and me had to combine his local knowledge and my Google Maps to even find it. We couldn't drive to the hotel because it's in a narrow and dark alleyway, so we had to carry our heavy luggage a bit. When we first came into the place I was shocked how different it looked compared to the photos when I booked it online. We told the hotel beforehand at what time we will arrive but there was no one at the reception. I walked around and tried to find any staff but that wasn't successful. After another 10minutes my girlfriend and I were already really annoyed. She wandered off looking for staff again and luckily found someone cleaning a room. The guy was friendly and gave us a bottle of water. The room was spacious but didn't look like the pictures. The bathroom was OK but overall cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. Under and right next to the bed was so much dust and dirt and there were weird stains on the linen. We ordered the room with breakfast. We had to remind the staff and they were surprised that we ordered breakfast. We told them that we would like to have breakfast at 8:30 the next morning and they told us that's no problem. In the morning at 8:45 there still was no breakfast so we went to the reception to see were it is. They looked a bit surprised again but told us that they will bring it to our room ASAP. At 9:30 the breakfast finally arrived. When we saw it we both started laughing. It was a black coffee and one toast with butter and a tiny amount of scrambled egg. During the first night my skin started to itch but my girlfriend didn't have that problem. Maybe bedbugs? On the second morning they told us we couldn't have breakfast because we are checking out. Couldn't be bothered to discuss with them. Overall I cannot recommend anyone staying here. We moved to another place for the same price which is so much better.

  Surprisingly Pleasant

  We booked 4 rooms for family holiday and was shocked to find that the hotel was located in a small alley with no car parking space. They upgraded our 2 rooms into the 2 bedroom family cottage which was HUGE complete with kitchenette. I was doubtful at first but at the end of the trip I was grateful we found the hotel. The location was perfectly in the center of everything, you can walk to Petitenget beach and it is surrounded by eateries. Yes the hot water is very low pressured with minimum bathroom amenities but the WIFI was great and breakfast was good though limited choice. The rooms were HUGE and the family rooms are perfect for families (that's why it is called family room). The pool was nice and I should give 2 thumbs up for the staffs who were very friendly and really made us feel at home. Can't complain about anything but the parking space, but at such price, you get more that what you paid for. I absolutely recommend it.

  Terrible.

  Arrived at 2am. We had a delayed flight and we wanted to sleep. Sink tap was brown dirty water, shower was measly dripping hot water. We had two singles instead of a Queen (when requested a queen). Turns out the whole room was wrong, and not to mention that the place looks nothing like the photos or description as advised. Wouldn't be staying there again. Ever. I'd rather sleep in the airport.

  Thank you for the amazing stay. Love this hotel. the location is away from the craziness, but super close to walk anywhere and has many good restaurants around. Staff are so so kind and friendly, the best in Bali. Rooms are clean and the pool is the best. Would recommend!
