    Quite a nice villa with beautiful views over the river, far from the crowds.     Budget friendly stay in Ubud

    We stayed for five nights during our stay in Bali. If you are looking for a budget friendly stay this is ok. The villa had a nice pool and were the best thing about our stay. The rooms have nice space, but I think they are in need for maintenance. The door curtains really needed cleaning as well. There are stair getting from villa to reception be aware of this if you have health issues. You decide your choose of breakfast the night before, which is ok, but serving in the morgen is confusing. We didn’t get coffee some mornings. We could have asked but staff was busy handling guest as reception staff is also serving breakfast. There is a nice place just across the road, Sayan point. There is also a couple of restaurants in the other direction. Staff was good at helping getting a driver for us. Riverrafting is also close by and a really nice thing to do.     Great private room with plunge pool

    Second time staying here. Very quiet location just outside Ubud. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and clean. Very private. Own plunge pool. Air conditioner was great. Fridge included. Water cooler was great for refilling bottles and provided cold water! Great outdoor seating area. Love the solitude of this hotel. Included breakfast was ok. Some selection but was underwhelming.     We stayed here in one of the private villas (Uyung) for 2 weeks and it was absolutely wonderful and so pretty! The staff were so friendly, polite, kind and helpful and helped us with everything that we needed very quickly and efficiently. I would also highly recommend the massages!     Very bad customer service 😞

    Staff watched us carry our 30kg bags up about 50 stairs. Food was very ordinary. Was a nice villa but unfortunately not clean and soaps and drinks not replaced. Had to ask all the time. No safe either. I’m a regular to Bali and purchased this Travelzoo voucher. Not a bad location if you enjoy walking but not safe to walk into Ubud Centre. They have a free shuttle at 11 and 2 but when we went to use it they said that there was no car or driver available. They called us a car that we paid 100,000rp for. Very disappointing. Unfortunately definitely won’t be back 😞
