    Fantastic experience!After reading hundreds of reviews and looking for different places to sleep my wife and I finally chose this hotel with villas with private pools.Absolutely clean and with excellent service.The staff is always available.It is not true that there are animals in the room in fact you are on an island with a dense nature so it is normal but this is not dependent on the facility. I can confirm a very good cleanliness of the room.On a negative note, the temperature of the pool was a little too cold.

    We just had 8 lovely nights in a pool villa facing the rice padi fields, private and quiet, a welcome retreat from the busy Ubud streets. The pool, while cool to enter, provided a refreshing swim each day. The sunrises were excellent to watch each morning. The unit was spacious and comfortable.The resort's food was excellent and we loved having breakfast delivered to our outdoor table, overlooking the private garden, pool and padi fields each day (no extra cost). We also had dinners at our outdoor table most nights, with their menu having a good mix of local and western choices, and at a reasonable cost. The staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Desak and Swadarma. We hired the resort's car for an enjoyable one-day tour in northern Bali, to 3 specific places which were beautiful (Bratan Temple, Banyumala waterfall, Jatiluwih rice terraces), and also for a taxi, and Swadarma was a safe driver and very helpful. The private tour enables flexibility, and the resort also has a range of other one day tours.The resort location is about 200-300m from their Drop Zone (located on the main road), down a concrete track, and the resort uses a golf cart buggy as transport (or we could walk). It's a very efficient service to their Drop Zone. While the Grab taxis we used had no problem with pick up/drop off, two arranged tours did find it hard to locate as there is another similar drop zone for nearby resorts. Maybe a sign pointing to the resort's Drop Zone would help.We would look to come back here again, it's a very relaxing and special location.

    Rocky start but holiday saved

    We were beyond concerned when we arrived to be told our booking had been cancelled but the staff bent over backwards to arrange alternative accommodation including two nights at the absolutely stunning Black Penny villas. When we did then stay at Ubud Padi Villas, the room service was fantastic - delicious Nasi gorgeng and western food, which we try to avoid in Asia as it’s a boring choice but they did well! Open air bathroom is a major tripping hazard - not good for anyone even slightly unsteady on their feet - and wooden floors inside the Villa were slippery, maybe from people walking around with oiled feet after a massage. But great view and good air conditioning. We cannot stress how important it is to pay a deposit to secure your booking, even though the booking system says that is not necessary.

    It is a beautiful little place tucked away in the lush area of ubud. It's far up into the mountainous / jungle vibes part of Bali. It's peaceful, pretty and private. The staff are amazing, food is good and they offer a free shuttle to central ubud. My family and I loved our 3 day stay.

    Absolute little gem. People were lovely and friendly. Very central great for the markets and monkey forest.We had a lovely stay here. Great food and good selection , your own little private pool which was lovely at the end of day after exploring . Great place
