    Our family reunion was a disappointment at the Villa in March 2012. Mainly because of the defer maintenance and being misled! Upon arrival we were told the chief was gone, no one to cook. The beach was full of trash; the stream next to the villa smelled of sewage; there was construction with pile drivers on every side of the villa except the ocean side. The first storm arrived about 2 hours after we retired for the night. All bedroom roofs leaked and the wind blew the windows open letting the storm. With the exception of one bed, all others were drenched--yes, in the middle of the night we had to find dry places in the villa to sleep. Since it was the rainy season and each day we experience leaky roofs, we cut our visit to the Villa short by 5 days!Now the good side, it had a really nice pool; the staff was very helpful and eventually drove us to a new location where we had great facilities and enjoyed the stay in Bali. Although the web site is still up, we were told by the rental agent that we were the last customers for the villa--there was evidence of them selling off the furnishing. We have yet to see our refund. We had booked 8 days, but left after 3.

    Loved, loved, loved the location...

    Staff and very nice and accomodating. I had a massage everyday of our trip overlooking the ocean at sunset. At night we has our driver take us to restaurants (both the touristy ones and the more expat local hang outs). In the morning we would wake up take a walk on the beach and come back to fresh fruit, balinese style coffee and what ever else we had ordered. I can't wait to go again, it was the most relaxing trip I've ever been on.
