  Spacious, quiet and beautiful views on the rice paddies

  We stayed 6 nights at one of the units of Villa Pecatu (second floor). Our suite was large with a large king-size beds, a large bathroom, and a nice terrace-balcony with excellent views on the rice paddies. Despite being located only about a hundred meters from Ubud's main road, it is perfectly quiet (sometimes, you get to hear the gamelan from the temple nearby, which is a blessing). We really enjoyed ourselves at Villa Pecatu. The staff was very nice, always smiling and helpful. We will be back, although we might also look for a location farther away from Ubud. Breakfast was good (served on our balcony) but could have been nicer.

  The hotel can't control bookings !

  I am Very disappointed in the management of this place. 3 times I have made a booking well in advance with them personally and then they cancel me with the excuse they've doubled booked or the guest before me won't leave..This is totally unprofessional on their part ..I think what they're doing is getting other bookings at a higher rate than they quoted me and so cancel they my booking .This has also happened to other friends of mine.. Beware ! Villa P, Owner at Villa Pecatu, responded to this review Dear guestWe understand your disappointment, and be sure that we sincerely appologize for this inconvenience. We have sometimes problem with our schedule which doesn't refresh properly on Airbnb and Booking.com. We are not looking for better and higher rate, we try to be fair in that kind of situation, and give the booking to the person who made it first. We are working on that problem and we will fix it.   We have stayed here for years, the place is in town, small kitchen and attentive staff. Clean and mostly quiet. Wayan and Made are lovely people and Komang and Giro will help you with whatever you need.

  This was the best place we stayed in 4 months wandering through SE Asia. It was a very happy accident that we landed at the Villa Pecatu and we're very glad that we did. 4 wonderful nights and as many days wandering the town and countryside. On site we were able to rent a motorbike for the day as needed and also arrange a private car for our onward journey (driven by the manager's husband). We hope to be back again sometime soon. The bed and villa were amazing and the pool was so refreshing on a hot afternoon...

  A beautiful place to relax

  We had three wonderful and relaxing weeks staying at the Villa Pecatu. A private spacious villa. A large bathroom and a clean kitchen. It was great to have use of a swimming pool. The villa is located in a central part of Ubud. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. There is a large supermarket down the road and an excellent 'street food.' stall close by which sells all kinds of cheap and wonderful food. The villa is very private and quiet. The family who own the villa are wonderful people. Very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the lovely lady that came to clean once a day. So nice to come back here at the end of the day to relax.
