  Wonderful Family Owned Boutique Hotel

  This is a wonderful family owned hotel that we would absolutely stay at again (I believe it has been owned by the same family for almost 200 years). We stayed in the Elizabeta Room. Our room was spacious and clean. The room had a historic feel with the decor, but it was still modern and comfortable. There was a nice sitting area in the room with chairs, a couch, desk and coffee table. The bathroom was also spacious with a nice deep soaking tub. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and we had no difficulties communicating in English with them. Breakfast had a variety of options to fill us up to start the day. The hotel itself is beautiful with historic pictures and items throughout all of the common areas. Their family owned restaurant is right across the street which was delicious and convenient. One night we went to the front desk and asked if it was okay for us to get our dinner for carry-out. The man at the front desk gave us a menu, asked what we wanted, and then delivered the food to our room when it was ready which was a nice surprise. We had expected to go over and order for ourselves and carry it back ourselves so the extra customer service was really nice.Note that it's not in the historic center of Zagreb so you'll need to drive if that's where you'll be heading each day. We had a car so this wasn't a problem for us. It was only about a 5 minute drive. They had a parking lot for guests which was nice and convenient.We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

  One of the best hotels we've ever been, my 4,5-year old daughter was also impressed. It's like a museum at first sight. 🙂 Big, clean rooms and excelent breakfast. The owner and all the staff are very nice. Also the location is perfect for all type exploring around. Totally recommend. 👌

  Old fashioned hotel with charme, enough parking space, breakfast choice absolutely ok, polite staff. A little bit apart from everywhere, so you need a car to get around. WLAN much to slow to work or stream. Room spacy, clean and equipped with everything you need.

  Stayed there for 3 nights with my friend. Really enjoyed our stay!!! Ladies on the reception were exceptionally polite and friendly, helped with any inquiries, we felt very welcomed any time of the day. Special thanks to Marinella (hopefully, I remembered the name correctly). She sorted out my laundry, pcr test booking, delivery, and basically anything we needed during our stay - weather it was late at night or early in the morning. She was always very friendly.The interior of the hotel is also really beautiful and authentic. The restaurant was very good too. Hundreds of small details that make this place very special.Definitely recommended for stay in Zagreb!
