  Nice villa lacking privacy

  Our first impressions of this villa was that it was really nice and looked just like the photos. We did find the bedrooms very dark and the main bathroom extremely hot, so getting ready to go out in the evening proved quite difficult.Our main problem with our stay at this villa was the lack of privacy. Every morning at 9 o'clock the bell on the gate would ring. We were always on edge to get up and ready before they arrived and it was impossible to just chill at the villa and have our breakfast in peace without the butler and his housekeeper cleaning up around us. So we asked him to come later and felt that we needed to go out for breakfast to get out of the way, which we did every day after that, but even then the butler and others were hanging around outside the gate when we came out, sitting in a little like shed outside the gate. We found it very intrusive and not private at all with them hanging around most of the morning.Even on the day we left, we had booked the villa until 6 but had a taxi coming at 4. The butler rang the bell at 3 but had been sitting outside for at least 2 hours before that ,for what we thought was to check out but he started cleaning the villa while we were trying to get ready to go the airport.We were 2 couples who chose this villa for independence to chill and relax in our own company.Although a nice villa, we would not book again or recommend to anyone because of the constant intrusion of privacy.

  Magnificent!

  A Magnificent Garden villa with two pools! A real balinese style town house, where living room, kitchen and bathrooms are outside space, only bedrooms airconditioned.We had a nice stay here with our family of 5, kids sleeping in their own bedroom building, parents their own. Own butler prepared the breakfast for us, which was nice.Great location, short distance to beach and eateries etc.Very clean and in good condition. Wifi works reliably and fast!Really stylish play, we enjoyed our stay a lot, good fengshui!Reasonably priced as well. Recommend.   Lovely Villa

  if your looking for a great villa close to the beach, shops and restaurants this is the one its very private has lovely grounds, great pool, we would recommend to anyone staying in Seminyak.   Get this place for location, the rest is just ok

  I go to Bali every year since 2001 and have stayed at Seminyak in my last 2 trips, both times at Villas as I have 2 young kids and need some privacy.Took this villa coz of the location and didn't disappoint. The beach is literally 2 mins walk. I love Ku De Ta so it's a plus. I would say the above average review stops there.First, the ad is quite misleading. There are only 2 guys taking care of the entire villa - 1 "butler-cum-cleaner-cum-maintenance guy" and the other one is security. You won't see him inside the house or interact with him. The "butler" refers everything to either a magazine or his "invisible" manager for all our needs. Not much help.The toilet in the master bedroom that the guest complained about (Patricia I believe) wasn't fix till now. The "butler" acted like he heard this for the first time and provided us with an actual bucket to flush for entire stay. I agree with her rating of just average. Nothing to shout about. The pics you see in the website are dated and I suggest to lower expectations.There was also an episode with my request for driver. I asked for pick up from villa as I didn't want my own driver to get lost finding the villa with my 2 young kids after a long flight. Anyways, not sure if he showed up on time or not but I had to call directly to General manager a couple of times before I found him at Info counter. But will give that a benefit of doubt but if you have a go to driver for Bali, suggest to use him instead of the villa driver. There was a problem with the septic tank and all is working fine now.

  Lovely villa and looks like photos. Close to everything so location good. Beautiful Balinese furniture and atmosphere. Not great on service and maintenance. Didn't know we were coming even though we'd payed in advance. Toilet dosn't flush properly in main bedroom and shower dosn't work satisfactorily. Second more modern bedroom fine. The safes were a problem. They're not big things, but they should fix if they want to keep it as a first rate property.
