    Beautifully kept gardens and facilities. Great food at Sleeping Gajah Restaurant. All experiences - trek, cooking, sight seeing, walk bicycle, spa were outstanding and thoughtfully presented. All staff, without exception were warm, friendly and exceeded expectations. The afternoon teas, pre dinner drinks and snacks were generous. Our experience was truly relaxing and refreshing and we would highly recommend Wapa Di Ume to anyone wanting a lovely boutique resort atmosphere and welcome from Balinese people. Simon and Rebecca

    All I can say is the whole experience was amazing. Come the moment we stepped into the resort the staff were the most lovely professional people you could want to take care of you. The room was amazing with stunning views. We were lucky enough to be there for the Saturday night riversides bbq. Great food, amazing traditional dancing. They even had a short cinematic that took us back to 1920 Bali. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel part of the Wapa Di Ume family.

    The location is amazing, the view is stunning and serene. I liked being able to walk down to the river. The pools are really great, though seats do fill up.I liked the luxury tent, didn't have any issues really other than a couple of mosquitos. The extra pool area with snacks was nice.I enjoyed the free yoga.The restaurant was good but not a standout, I think it suffered from too much variation, maybe more Balinese food would be better. Also, it would be good to make the water options clearer - the bottled mineral water is expensive but there is also free filtered water but it's not the default when asked. This is really normal for Europe but wasn't for my experience in Bali so I was a bit surprised the first time.The spa is also very good, the location really makes it because you have an amazing view for your treatments.All of the staff were really nice and attentive.I definitely recommend staying here.

    We visited Wapa Di Uma Sideman back in early 2020 and on our long awaited return from the UK to Bali early in June 2026 we couldn’t wait to revisit. Our memory was of a stunningly quiet and beautiful location with far reaching views and a glorious infinity pool.We’re delighted to report that 6+ years after our first visit the hotel has lost none of its original charm and indeed has extended and improved its offering. It now has additional accommodation in various styles of luxury ‘tents’ which are at the extreme top end of the glamping style! There is also a children’s play area and a wonderfully positioned BBQ area set up alongside the river.We attended the evening BBQ and it was a lovely experience with top quality food, wonderful singers and local Bali dancers performing their art to very high standards. A simply lovely evening in an unbeatable setting hosted by a wonderful team - don’t miss it if you get the opportunity!As is mentioned often in the reviews of this hotel those delivering the extremely high service levels with warmth and care make the experience of staying here something special. The ever smiling Deny (one of the Managers) always present and a delight to converse with. All of the staff within this property deliver wonderful service levels but a special thanks to Sonia, Ayu and, of course, Utari!Utari welcomed us all those years ago and it was great to see her again - she really is exceptional in her varied role!Finally, the extremely high quality dining experience offered within the restaurant throughout each day is a wonder to behold. The delicious food delivered is beautifully presented and is truly at a level of fine dining. All served by a wonderful crew. We met the delightful Chef Widana at the BBQ (food once again off the scale!!).     Wonderful stay! All staffs are so kind and helpful. I enjoyed magnificent view from restaurants and infinity pools! Breakfast is so delicious! I’m glad that I chose to stay hotel.
