Bad reception.Wifi keep disconnecting , and provider reception here is sooo bad.Room light is kinda dim,Breakfast just average nothing special.Only pool is good here

Total dissatisfaction Total disappointment We were really looking forward to staying here.I did SO much research.Photos are false.Main pool cloudy / not clean.Evening meal “special “ mie goreng soup dish. Was inedible ??Awful ?? flavour.Staff pushy to up sell “island hopping”???????THEN when we decided we want to leave early - to go to our next hotel.Did the front staff lock horns !They were not prepared to give us even 50% refund.Beds were comfortable. But that is it !!!! Never again Look elsewhere ??

We stayed at Santika and we enjoyed it so much.The location was good, in Sijuk area near Tanjung Kelayang beach.The seaside hotel compound was spacious and so pretty. We got unlimited direct access to the beach and could enjoy the perfect sea-view in all rooms. The facilities were okay, basic amenities were provided.The bed was good and the pillows were comfy.Now it’s the downside. I personally dislike its room cooler. You know, the less cool type of mini refrigerator. It wasn’t cool at all. When we stored some leftover food, it became spoilt on the next day. All the meals and drinks that were stored inside the cooler, were not cool – at all. It felt like being placed in the regular room-temperature box.Second, I really dislike its breakfast. Since we already booked for the including breakfast room, so I had the breakfast anyway, but I think the taste and service were below our expectations. On the first morning, it took so long for us to get our meal ready, the egg station made lots of sunny side ups but only asked me to wait more to get the omelet done.The empty dishes were not being replaced quickly, even we found it difficult to find spoons and forks. (the service was gradually better on the next days though).The soup tasted bland and cold. The pasta was overcooked. Even the crackers were airy and soggy. I’ve tried several different menu during my 5 days visit, none were meet my expectations, and finally on the last morning, I had toast with margarine (note: margarine, not butter as the usual hotel standard) and chocolate sprinkles and finally it tasted better than my previous meals.One thing I liked was the ice tea drink. So refreshing with the hint of sweetness with many ice cubes and that was all! About the staff, they did their job professionally but lack of smile. As for the hotel location and price-wise, I would come here again, but if I have the choice to rent the room without breakfast, I would prefer to do so.

The worst Romantic dinner

I booked a romantic dinner package for me and my GF on sept 17th, I've been planning this dinner for a week with the hotel reservations, everything was ok until i arrived on the D day and i ask about my reservation, and it's not in the system, i had to ask 3 times and call the reservation to make sure and they finally find my dinner reservation, such a bad start and i thought this couldn't get any worse, how wrong i wlas!1. The food takes too long to arrive and it arrived cold, it takes 30 mnt from appetizer to pre main and another 30 mnt to my main course and it's a cold steak,2. The waiter that's in charge to look after us is so busy with other guests that i need wait for like 10mnt just to get his attention, it's not his fault tho, the restaurant looks severely understaff. 3. I specifically ask for a white rose bouquet with pink paper and ribbon, and guess what, it arrives in black paper and white ribbon, it ruins the mood! I ask them like a week before my reservation date, and they agreed to my request, and they disappoint me big time there. Like why do i have to pay extra if they couldn't get what i need. 4. I brought a birthday cake in a box to give to my GF, and before dinner i ask them to prepare the cake in a plate and serve it at the end of our dinner, and guess what the waiter just brought the whole cake still inside the box, i need to manually open the box, take out the cake and put the candle on it! Everything is just a big miscommunication, from the moment i arrived until the very last moment. Definitely would come back.
