  A welcome pack with a beautiful clean dog bed, and a double dog bowl for food and water. Lexi is welcome in all areas accepted the restaurant, which is fine as the offer food alternatives in the bar, which is beautiful to relax in, with the most Courteous Bar Stay. We must say every member of staff Bar, reception, cleaning and security are all very welcoming to us and our dog Lexi, they all are very warm and welcoming polite, and considerate to both our need and our dog, we have never felt our dog is tolerated it’s a true welcome, they actually take time to say hello to Lexi and ask if they can stroke her.There is a fantastic woodland walk are which is safe for our dog to enjoy. We have stayed several times here at the hotel Vienna Woods it has a beautiful ambience it’s like you have stepped into Downtown Abby, the comfort of the rooms and all areas is excellent and a joy to be in any part of the hotel.We come together as a little family as my husband works in the area one day a week but we have started staying two night when we come together as it’s such a treat.I will say here we had booked the first time coming a hotel in town and at the last moment they cancelled saying they no longer accepted dogs, it was the best cancellation we have ever had.   Pet Friendly Hotel

  We stayed here on 9th May 2026 x 1 night in room 204, it was our first time taking our dog Phoebie away with us. On arrival the lady that checked us in was lovely, they had a dog bed and dog bowl in the room which was a lovely touch. I had mentioned on booking it was my partners bithday and they had balloons and cookies in the room, again a lovely touch. The room itself is spacious and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and there is a terrace outside where we had a lovely breakfast before leaving. The lady that checked us out was also extremely helpful throughout our stay, I didnt get her name. We will 100% be back in the very near future as we can't fault anything. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel this is it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.   Great hotel but not close to downtown

  This was a great hotel. It was very clean. The only negative is the location. It is an expensive uber/cab ride to and from downtown.   This luxurious Country House Hotel has a history since 1756!

  We were really impressed with this hotel. From the moment we walked in we got the wow factor. The decor and furnishings were to a very high standard and in keeping with the character and charm of the hotel. We were given a beautiful room, again with quality furnishings and the most comfortable bed. We ate both dinner and breakfast here and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed breakfast - a great continental choice and the hot food which was served to our table. All the staff were very friendly but a special thank you to Andrea and Susan on reception who were particularly accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
