10/10 experience. Our room was lovely, bed was comfy, spotlessly clean, use of a large lounge area and the view!!! Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a B&B. All the usual breakfast food was there, cereal, toast, juice, fresh fruit and yogurt. Plus she had a full breakfast menu to choose from! All served efficiently and piping hot! I would totally recommend this place for exploring the south east of Ireland.

Rathmore House was a pleasure to stay at. Marguerite was wonderful and her communications with me were prompt and convivial. Appreciated this so much . My room was lovely and after a long days travel when I arrived I was so tired I went straight to bed. Marguerite had a heated blanket all ready and warm .. Heaven! The property and the view were stellar. Breakfast was amazing and the food was perfect. I could not have asked for more. Marguerite is a wonderful and kind hostess and she dropped me off by the harbor to catch my ferry to Cape Clear, Again so appreciated and recommend to all. Shower was amazing ! Property is very clean and comfortable. Most of all Marguerite makes you feel very welcome and at the end of the day you can't beat that . Thank you

My husband booked this B&B for my birthday trip to Baltimore. Usually I deal with bookings, but was absolutely delighted with this gem he found himself!The accommodation is clearly sign posted from the road, and after a steep driveway there is ample parking for guests. We were immediately greeted by our host, Marguerite, who knew exactly who my husband was, and gave us a warm welcome. She offered a double to 2 twin room- we went for the double which was a gorgeous sea view room.The room was beautifully clean, had kettle/ tea/ coffee facilities, some simple toiletries - perfect.Breakfast on both days was amazing- cooked fresh and very attentive service from the host.Baltimore centre is just a short, simple drive away, and 10 minutes up the hill there is a very traditional pub. They were having the kitchen refurbed in the close of season but that was fine as we had food bookings anyway. I really cannot find any criticism of this stay, only I wish it had been longer!

We stayed in the family room which was huge and comfy. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast was of high quality and very tasty. The owner made us feel welcome and looked after us very well. We will definitely come back the next time we visit this part of Ireland.

The host is lovely and very accommodating, breakfast was outstanding, many choices to be had. The beds were way too stiff to our liking, the pillows flat. The view is so beautiful, request a front facing room. Not walking distance to town, parking is included
