    Lovely hotel but slow service

    The hotel is lovely. You are greeted by a beautiful smell in the lobby. The rooms are lovely. I think the ‘in room’ entertainment could be updated to include apps such as Netflix. My main bone of contention was that I found the check in process slow and frustrating. Having to fill in details on a screen despite having provided this information when booking seems pointless. It really slowed down the process. Can the hotel not offer check in before arrival by email like most hotels? I said I was at the hotel for business and was then asked about 8 questions about this which is really nobody’s business. My colleague booked a table for 2 in the Oriel Bar and when we arrived to the bar there was no record of this booking. The bar was empty at this stage but instead of just saying apologies there are plenty of tables we were kept there for ages it seemed. The food was lovely however the menu was extremely limited. There used to be more options on the menu. Breakfast was lovely, again super slow, not enough staff. There was a long wait for everyone arriving to the restaurant to get a table.     Easy parking and check-in, friendly staff. Room was great. Restaurant and bar was good, as was breakfast. The pool and gym were great.Tesco is a short walk away,and you can get a bus into the city.     Nice hotel with noisy guests
