This hotel is located on the coast, just 8 minutes away from the picturesque town of Kinsale. It is outstandingly positioned for both exploration of the historic sights in the town and also for visits to the rugged coast, sandy beaches, and neighbouring towns. Cork Airport can be reached in some 15 km and Ringaskiddy harbour is around a 25-minute drive from the hotel.

    Lovely hotel , great location .Staff really helpful & friendly. Bed Rooms spacious and really clean as were all areas in the hotel .Great breakfast menu .

    Our first stop after arriving in Ireland. What a lovely town Kinsale is and the Trident is in a perfect location. You can walk to everything and it is nice that at the end of the evening you are tucked away down a quiet street. The views of the Harbor from where you eat breakfast are beautiful. The staff and rooms were all wonderful. Perfect location for us to do day trips to Cork and Cobh.

    Spectacular first thought that comes to mind. Everything was excellent. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The rooms room were clean and spacious including the bathroom which had a bathtub. The hotel was very clean the staff super friendly honestly we had a great experience. It’s located at the edge of Kinsale walking distance to everything. We spent 2 nights here which was just enough for us. You will not be disappointed with the hotel.

    Beautiful hotel in Kinsale. Stayed with my family and had two lovely sea view rooms. Beds are so comfy…. And the room decor so relaxing. All the staff were so welcoming and especially the restaurant staff. Delicious Breakfast menu which included fresh fish options which was a real treat. A warm Irish hotel experience awaits you at this special hotel…. Top class.

    Refurbished, Clean, Convenient to Town

    If you’re looking for a great stay in a recently refurbished hotel…on the water, you cannot go wrong with the Trident. Conveniently located on the pier about a 5 minute walk to Town Centre. Rooms were refurbished in the Fall of 2025 and this room is immaculate. Adjacent and contiguous to the Wharf Tavern which is highly rated on Trip Advisor. Parking inside the property is available but spaces are limited.
