    Needs Great Improvement

    rating01 Jun 2026

Personally I think 3* is questionable. I had thought about 4* but seeing as it’s in a great location, I’ll stick with the 3* but I could be harsher. The room was ok, check in was fine, location as stated, ideal, tv.. all fussy so no proper signal. Not all of us staying there are tourists and many might want to relax especially people who drive around Ireland bringing tours to the local economy. There was a stain on the towel, I found a wood lice in my room and had to flush that away, there was a double socket in the room for chargers/plugs but only one side worked so if I had a separate unit for phones/iPads/watches/cameras, it’s not ideal. No map or suggestions on where to go in the town, no local taxi number or information on things to see or do even for outside the town. The tv in the reception area worked so staff could watch tv it seems. I could also hear clearly everything that was happening in the corridor which was great to find out who was going to the aquarium and who was doing everything else. There was no plug by the bed.. Big mistake… Guests need things like this to charge devices and also they wouldn’t have to move away from the bed to check messages. Small things but significant also.Right, the main reason for a polite 3*. I came in for breakfast, I wasn’t given the chance to order off the menu, I wasn’t just told where to get a full Irish when I wanted to get porridge but I wasn’t asked. Only asked if I wanted tea/coffee and toast.A few other people came in and filled in the rest of the dining room but when a group was about to come in and there was only me at a table on my own, the same lady came up to me and asked me ‘would you mind finishing my breakfast in the lobby as we have some guests arriving’. Excuse me, I am a paying guest, you ask me instead ‘may I ask if you are nearly ready as we have some more people we want to try and fit in if possible’? That’s the difference between hospitality and feeling hostile. These are small things and genuinely, they can be improved upon but remember, like many, I’m a paying guest and they are at the forefront of anyone in the hospitality and tourism sector, without us there is no footfall, no wages, no business. Don’t rush people just to sit people down. They are ultimately still paying for a service and for that service they expect to be treated as any other guest. You wouldn’t rush someone out of a restaurant because you had more people waiting, you would ask the new guests to wait patiently whilst a table is being prepared. That could take 5 minutes or 15, if people have paid for an experience, you give it to them, not rush them. That’s the difference between 3* and a hesitant 4*. I could go lower but seeing as you’re close to the town and parking is available at the door, there has to be some uptake from that.Remember paying guests come and go, so do reviews but experience comes, but it doesn’t go.

Lovely place, only 5/10 mins walk into the centre of Dingle. Really helpful, friendly staff. They gave us great tips on where to go while we were in Dingle and they were happy to just chat to us too! Room was great, I double and 1 single bed, tea/coffee facilities, tv, shower and we had a lovely view of the Marina. Room was clean and was kept tidy for us during our stay. Was lovely and peaceful. Slept soundly, no noise.

    Great location &fqb breakfast!

    rating08 Aug 2025

We came for a night to visit a friend and were so pleased with our choice of hotel! It was races weekend so some came back in the early hours of the morning, the staff apologised Incase we had been disturbed but wasn’t a problem. The room we had was perfect for all of us and breakfast absolutely set us up for the day with a range of cooked breakfast, pastries, meats, fruit, salmon, cereals and yoghurts, really impressed.Dingle town was a short walk away so perfect position. Front of house staff were all really inviting and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of staff seen in morning cleaning rooms but all polite and quiet in doing so. Would recommend staying here and would love to go back!

    Far too expensive and noisy

    rating08 Aug 2025

Far too expensive and noisy. The room was basic but very clean. Not worth the money at all.I had a desperate night’s stay here. The noise during the night from other guests shouting and banging on doors was ridiculous. I was woken up a number of separate times. You can also hear everything in the other rooms and outside in the corridors. In the morning the cleaning staff start before 8am and are not quiet setting up in the corridors outside the bedrooms.
