    The most comfortable and welcoming B&B ever.It's like being at home. Really easy to find and get to from the airport. On the doorstep of wonderful places to visit and Castleisland is a lovely town.Miss my visits there and MaryAnne x

    If you're looking for a B&B in county Kerry, you couldn't do any better than Island Heights. Mary Ann and Eamonn are very warm and welcoming. The view from my room was terrific. The food was delicious and plentiful. I stayed for 4 nights while attending the Patrick O'Keefe traditional music festival and staying here just added to the enjoyment. I'd go so far as to say it's the best lodging I've experienced anywhere in Ireland.

    I recently stayed at Island Heights B&B while on a work trip to Castleisland - food was great, hospitality was fabulous and it was an very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again if in Kerry and recommend it to anyone.

    Where to start? First, Castleisland is a great little town to check into if you are flying from the US and landing in Shannon. It doesn't have Killarney's hectic tourist scene: the surrounding area is gorgeous, and you can walk all over this quiet little place and get a real sense of Irish life. Island Heights B & B is deliciously comfortable. Plenty of hot water, cozy beds, and a quiet little parlor where you can sit and read, sip tea or have a glass of wine as you sit by the fire. Dieters beware: Mary is a champion baker and it is hard to resist the delicious goodies, especially her scones, that she leaves on trays for guests to munch on. And I am positive that no one leaves her breakfast table hungry! My husband and I got a kick out of meeting some of her family who live nearby and pop in and out during the day. I cannot say enough good things about Island Heights. If you are visiting Kerry, treat yourself and book a room at Mary Breen's.
