Nice stay
04 Apr 2026
The hotel is placed right in font of the quay which is very nice! You have to get your ticket scanned every time you go out to be able to get the car out, you do have pass the reception anyways but if there was a queue it could of been a problem. I really can’t fault the staff we had some minor problems but they were rectified very quickly and always with a smile on faces. Not too sure on having to commit to a breakfast time every day as plans change however we did go at times different to what we booked with no issues. Loved the pancake machine great hit! My only recommendation I have for breakfast is to make our own toast, it came out in baskets, toasted very little and not warm If you are looking for somewhere to stay I would recommend this hotel but just be aware of the points I have raised above.

We loved this short stay in the Talbot and planned to return but as I realized the next morning I won't be able to as the mattress is too soft and I ended up totally stiff the next day. I'm really disappointed as everything else was really great
