    Rugby Weekend

    rating17 Mar 2026

This was a weekend away to watch the rugby at the Arriva. First time staying here but was ideally located The property is clean and has friendly staff who were always helpful especially the team at breakfast. Bedrooms are not the largest but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was a continental offering which did the trick each morning. I would certainly return

Fantastic location. Beautiful building, lovingly decorated. Clean, spacious room. Friendly staff. Lovely chat with proprietor at breakfast (continental and plentiful) who told me some of the fascinating history of the hotel. Great value for Dublin

    Noisy room

The big deluxe room at the front of the building was a big mistake with noise throughout the night. Made my feelings aware to lady receptionist, who brushed my comments away and said 'what do you expect in this location' ... I won't be returning unfortunately.

Lovely hotel in a great location on a Georgian crescent/ street. Tall ceilings and well decorated. Huge rooms and good bathrooms. Breakfast was very good and a lovely woman manages it. Only continental not cooked. Coffee and toast was good. All in all a lovely stay.

    Nice city stay.

Lovely old townhouse style, boutique hotel. Beautiful entrance area and a very welcoming check in. Our room was a decent size and very clean. The old staircase is beautiful too and loved the big gold mirror. We had breakfast included which was very good, including great coffee but no hot items. Location was ideal as we basically walked everywhere. Staff let us leave our luggage on the last day safely stored until our evening flight. We highly recommend for a few nights in Dublin.
