    The hotel was decent overall and had a good location. The room was clean and the check-in process was smooth, but a few things could definitely be improved. The service was average and some facilities didn’t meet expectations. It was an okay stay for a short visit, but there’s still room for improvement.

    We stayed here in April 2026 and enjoyed every moment from start to finish. It began with a warm welcome from the reception team, who also provided us with tasty refreshments and nice cold towels. After enjoying some fizz in the bar, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was ready earlier than expected. We were shown to a beautiful junior suite on the second floor, and I dare say that this was one of the cleanest and most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. The high-end amenities were plentiful, and the personal welcome note was the icing on the cake! During the day, we visited the spa area, where we could unwind and enjoy the beautiful, secluded surroundings. Moving on to dinner, everything from the friendly and knowledgeable F&B team to the incredibly tasty food served was just amazing. When we came back to the room, the turndown service had already been done and there were two pieces of chocolate in the shape of Ireland on our pillows. What a lovely touch! The beds were super comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast the next day did not disappoint either. A huge selection of à la carte and buffet options made for the perfect start to the day. After check out, we were able to store our luggage with the hotel for the rest of the day, which made it easier for us to see the city.All in all, I would highly recommend this fantastic hotel and can't wait to be a guest again!     Amazing Day in the Spa

    Yesterday, I had a facial treatment with Efi at the spa, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed at reception by Orjana and Alfeva, who were both attentive and took the time to clearly explain all the facilities.Efi then guided me through a 90-minute facial treatment using the latest Elemis technology and products. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and the thoughtful touches throughout the experience were truly outstanding. The relaxation room afterward was the perfect way to complete the treatment.I highly recommend the Anantara The Marker Spa—it truly leaves you speechless. It’s exactly what everyone needs.Thank you.     Great Location, Good Hotel, Meh Hostess

    The hotel is perfectly situated and has fine rooms. The door people are exemplary - always professional, courteous and so helpful with kind words and tips on places to go, things to see and so on. The recurring issue throughout was the hostess at the bar/restaurant downstairs. I always dealt with a hostess whose name tag read "Priya" and she was just terrible - interrupted, loud, discourteous. The first time I went, I asked if they served outside and she interrupted me screaming, "IF YOU DON'T HAVE A RESERVATION I AM TERRIBLY TERRIBLY SORRY I CANNOT SEAT YOU. PLEASE, PLEASE UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!" I was so taken aback, I almost jumped. I said, "No, I am not looking to -" whereupon she interrupted again, shouting, "IF YOU ARE NOT A GUEST, YOU MUST LEAVE!" It was disconcerting. I am a guest. Why does she keep interrupting and shouting? She was so unwelcoming and made us all feel out of place. It was not the sort of behavior you expect from staff at a luxury hotel. I have had this experience with the hostesses in the past when I stayed at Anantara so they really do need to consider re-training their hostess staff.
