Location

The hotel is situated on Parkgate Street, across the River Liffey from Heuston train station. The centre of Dublin, as well as the famous Temple Bar district, is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. It is also a short distance to many of Dublin's premier tourist attractions, for example Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Zoo, Jameson Distillery, the Tower in Smithfield, the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Kilmainham Gaol. Dublin Airport is about 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

The holiday village has 5 single rooms and 217 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Stayed in the Ashling hotel on Saturday night as I was attending a concert with friends. Our room was ready at 2 o’clock which was brilliant as we were going to go roam the city first. On arrival, the only thing I didn’t like is that there was a very strong smell of fish once you opened the main door. We arrived at our room it was absolutely fabulous. Really modern, plenty of mirrors and really good lighting. Loved the water taps and ice at the lifts to the floor such a lovely feature for guests. Beds were very comfortable and any staff we met were very friendly. The hotel is very close to Heuston station. And on the line for the luas.     Relaxing stay after a long train trip

    Ashling Hotel Dublin is about a 5 minute walk from the Dublin Heuston DART station, which is why I stayed here. I was so glad I did. This is a modern hotel, with a spacious lobby/restaurant, and straightforward navigation through the hotel property. Multiple elevators made the wait times minimal, and the dedicated hydration station at the base of the lobby elevators was a nice touch. The staff were helpful with scheduling me a taxi to the airport for the following morning, and my driver arrived promptly. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and looked almost new. Even though my room was only slightly above street level, it was a side street, so noise was not an issue.I did order room service from the hotel restaurant. It was a bit tricky to get before 9pm (I had to actually go to the restaurant to order it). But it arrived quickly, and was generously proportioned and delicious.If you are planning to stay in the area of the Heuston station, Ashling Hotel is a great pick.     A very decent hotel close to mass transit

    We were three friends traveling and really liked the layout of Room 321. There was a single and double in the main room and a separate room with another single. The large and multiple mirrors were handy for getting ready on time. Plenty of outlets too. The room was at the end of the hall and nice and quiet.     Easy access from Heuston. Room lovely. Could open a window big bonus. Staff very pleasant. Food nice.     I didn't stay at the hotel,I've a kidney infection,travelled from Galway as my aunt died in the uk,funeral Monday 20th. Not one taxi would take me or my French bulldog bayli, I was crying-an amazing concierge,generous in soul,rang a taxi so that I could get to Dublin ferry port. I was elated,frozen shaking,cost me a small fortune but I was eternally grateful. Merci boucoup Mon ami, to make it harder,I'm profoundly deaf, with tinnotus&ptsd. I got into Dublin at 11.30pm it was 12.50am.
