    Disappointed

    rating20 Mar 2026

Stayed here 17th March for my birthday on st Patrick’s day for 2 nights. My husband paid over £400 for a 2 night stay here and put in the notes that it was for wife’s birthday as it asks if it’s a special occasion so thought why not maybe they will add a special touch. Well I think they ignored the notes as we must have had the worst room in the hotel. We were put in a basement hotel room 023, the view out of the window was of a dirty brick wall and had no light coming in so the room was dark. The bathroom had a bad smell, the little air con box in the corner made a ratting noise every 10 minutes so hard to turn it off by the switch. Second night we got in and it was cold but there was no radiator in the room so we had to wrap up in the quilt to keep warm. Such a shame because when you arrive at the hotel it and see the reception and bar it looks lovely, then to be given your key card down to a grubby basement room that didn’t even look like the same hotel was such a disappointment and left us deflated. The only reason we didn’t complain is because we knew we were going to be out and about mostly but that is besides the point. When your paying over £200 per night you expect a perfect room to stay in. This price didn’t even include breakfast, we had to pay an extra 14 euros each for that on top. Wouldn’t stay again if we come back to Dublin. The only good thing about this hotel for us was the location.

    60th Birthday traveller

    rating25 Feb 2026

Frequent traveller now and love both leaving and reading reviews to use as a guideline. My wife and I have spent three nights at this hotel, clean , tidy, and welcoming everything that it. said on the tin. I would highly recommend the evening three course menu what a treat well worth every penny, good choice and very tasty once finished I headed straight to the room afterwards, full and happy, to top it all the service was exceptional and David deserves a special mention he was outstanding a big thank you.

I would like to thank David and the Turkish waiter who served us for the warm welcome. The service was personalized, the reserved space was prepared with great care, and the food was delicious. Thank you very much to the entire staff.

DO NOT STAY! DIRTY, COLD, DRUG USE / RESIDUE INSIDE THE ROOMS!

    rating09 Feb 2026

DO NOT STAY! Do not stay especially if You have little kids, When You first walk in and see reception You think You booked a nice Hotel, No thats not the case, Our first room was cold, Their solution was giving us a portable heater that did nothing after finding an empty alcohol can under the bed We moved rooms, We looked under Our New Rooms bed and found a Cigarette Box with one cigarette and a small plastic bag with a tiny bit of White Powder stuck to the sides, their solution? Free Breakfast… If the rooms are that unclean I don’t want to know what the kitchen looks like eventually they refunded us (days after) and we had to move to a different hotel, We were celebrating two things one of them being a anniversary and it wasn’t ideal packaging up twice to move to a new hotel, Towels were stained, Room carpets stained You leave this hotel feeling dirty and Our second Room containing the small bag and cigarette and cigarette box, Both of us ended up with a rash on Our legs I would not recommend staying here, It’s disgusting top to bottom and the worst part of everything the Staff / Manager wasn’t one bit surprised with what We found imagine a kid found that and what could happen, safe to say this place should be shut or inspected and it truly ruined Our experience. Just stay away!
