Location

This beautifully restored 19th century Masonic School is ideally located in the heart of Dublin's exclusive business district and embassy belt. The hotel is next door to the RDS Arena and just a 10-minute drive from Dublin city centre and attractions such as Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Christchurch Cathedral. Dublin Zoo can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Public transport via bus and rail is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and Dublin International Airport is 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel has junior suites, suites, apartments, studios, single rooms and 304 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub.     I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a business trip. Unfortunately, I forgot a brand-new perfume, which I bought at the airport as a gift, my bad I left it in a drawer when leaving early in the morning. I called the hotel the same day as soon as I realized, but I was already at the airport. Today I was informed that nothing was found. Sadly, this was very disappointing, and I would have expected more honesty and care. Please be careful not to leave anything behind.     Really enjoyed our stay, the hotel was great , but most importantly- the staff and service was exceptional. Reception team helped us various times at arrival day and made the stay immediately enjoyable. The duty manager Victor assisted in solving some of our concerns upon arrival and reacted very quickly in managing his coleagues Jorge&Sebastian to help us feel at ease with their hospitality.     Hot and uncomfortable

    Large spotlessly clean rooms. Helpful staff. Good food and service. My only problem is that the rooms are very warm (hot in my opinion) with a lowest temperature during the night of 23 celcius. There are no means for guests to control the temperature other than the use of a large fan that is provided, which I placed in front of the window, which only opens slightly so the fan had little effect. (This choice also meant that I could not close the curtains).     Room was too hot the first night. Called operator, it rang about 15 times. She said she would send maintenance. They never showed up. Bathroom gad drips that could not be stopped and there were funny noises from the sink.
