Central location, basic hotel, friendly staff, good price

    rating06 Apr 2020

Our hotel was very central and convenient. We are 3 star people, so we got what we paid for. The room was basic, clean, small, with spartan decor. A free safe was provided, free toiletries, a tea tray. Downstairs, there was a little lounge with reams of tourist information, complimentary tea and coffee, a smoking area. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even helped us print out our Ryan Air tickets, as we did not have any way to do so. We are so grateful for their assistance. A little treat dish on the counter. They kept our luggage for us until checkin. They go the extra mile. I would love to stay here again. Hint...ask for a room on Talbot, if you want to look out the window. Also, no fridge.

    rating19 Mar 2020

Went to Dublin for St Patrick's Day everything cancelled Pubs shut but the staff at the hotel were excellent .only four people at breakfast ,but had no brown bread ,the young lad offered to go and get some for us,which we politely thank but said no ,(think there's more to worry about them bread) .I hope all your jobs are safe and the lovely helpful staff are safe and well .

Cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a long while. Friendliest staff who are beyond helpful and a very good located hotel. Do not understand the naff reviews... it is a budget hotel after all. However I don’t have a bad word to say about the place. Highly recommend Patrick Carney, General Manager at Dublin Central Inn, responded to this review Hello Laurenmciver1,Thank you very much for such a wonderful review its a pleasure to see how much you enjoyed all aspects of your stay.We hope to have the opportunity in welcoming you back in the future.Kind RegardsPatrick Carney,General Manager

Perfect weekend and an engagement !

    rating08 Mar 2020

Even though renovation works we’re going ahead we were lucky enough to have a room that was completed, small ish room but beautiful. Could not fault it, considering it a central city hotel is was one of the better ones I’ve stayed inManagement even helped me with my secret plan to propose to the other half on leap year, staff went out of their way to decorate the room for me ( in literally no time, it was a time restraint mission ) and gave us a complimentary bottle of bubbly ! Luckily he said yes ! Breakfast is an extra but the choices you were offered were good and a good variety Local pub the Celt bar ended up being our haunt ( there was 15 of us) who were brilliant and fairly priced Def worth staying ! Thanks again to Patrick and all the staff Patrick Carney, General Manager at Dublin Central Inn, responded to this review Dear Reviewer,Thank you for such a lovely review following your special weekend in Dublin.Myself and all the team were delighted to hear the fantastic been accepted after all your planning. We wish you both best wishes on the upcoming special wedding day .Kind Regards,Patrick CarneyGeneral Manager.

Good place in the center of Dublin

    rating05 Mar 2020

On our short trip in Dublin we stayed at the Central Inn for one night. It is located very central and is a good starting place to explore the city. We parked our car in the parking garage (Q-Park the spire) about 5min by foot from the hotel. The hotel provides a discount card for the stay, but expect to pay 25+ Eur for 24h. The hotel also has a few free parking spots at the hotel, so worth to check with them. The rooms and bathrooms were basic and quite small, but clean and ok. The staff was friendly. We liked the breakfast, with a nice room, a good selection and very good organized (seated, and staff really cleans up quickly) Patrick Carney, General Manager at Dublin Central Inn, responded to this review Hello Stefan,Thank you for taking the time in posting your recent stay on Trip Advisor, We are delighted to see you had a pleasant stay and thank you for your kind feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the very near future.Kind Regards,Patrick CarneyGeneral Manager
