This hostel/youth hostel warmly welcomes guests in Dublin. For those in need of an adults-only holiday, it provides everything needed for a pleasant stay.

    The hostel is in a great location and is very clean! City centre is accessible by foot and there are good shops in the area!The staff were very helpful and friendly and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need!I had a great experience and would highly recommend!Many thanks!     Great place with comfortable beds, nice and clean bathrooms and very few to share them with which made it feel like you had your own.Overall a great feeling. Situated in a quiet residential area only 15 minutes walk from busy Temple Bar or city centre.Big common room and kitchen and lift so should work great for everyone. Friendly staff at reception.     Nice and cosy place. Super quiet, silent during the nights and comfortable beds. Staff and reception is amazing and super helpful.     €50 and you can’t even give me a pillow

    This place is a scam. €50 and all you get is a bed, and that bed can’t even come with a pillow? And there’s no one at reception 24/7 to give you one?? Absolutely not. Go anywhere else.We also wanted to do laundry as well… but seeing that we checked in after 6 pm (seriously? 6 pm?), we weren’t able to buy any tokens or laundry soap. So yeah… this place is useless- like if you’re just looking for a place to just sleep, you can’t even do that because they can’t even provide a pillow. Unfortunately, some people have the bad habit of stealing pillows to have more for themselves. This is not an excuse, but unfortunately, we have no control over this kind of situation.About the reception time, this is informed on all the booking channels and in the confirmation e-mail. If you needed any extra service (as laundry), that requires reception contact, you should be aware of these details at the moment you've booked. The price of the stay at Garden Lane Backpackers is the average of Dublin. Unfortunately, Dublin is an expensive city and to maintain the business we need to keep the average.     The staff are lovely, the facilities are excellent, the elevators are plentiful and the decor is splendid. All in a, this is a hostel that you would be mad - nat, delusional - to leave, such is the quality of the work.
