    Would not recommend

    rating14 Feb 2026

The staff were all rude and we felt like an inconvenience on them. I felt more like an unwanted house guest then a paying customer. The food was horrific, all our plates went back pretty much untouched. The morning for breakfast there was mold on my toast. Rooms and the hotel interior are stunning. But we would never stay again

    Refusal for accommodating disabled guest

    rating10 Dec 2025

I am absolutely disgusted with the way this hotel treated my family. My mum called ahead of our planned stay to ask a very simple request, if they could warm up a small amount of milk for my disabled little brother. That’s it. Nothing outrageous, nothing unreasonable. Instead of showing even the slightest bit of compassion or basic customer service, the staff flat-out refused and were extremely rude about it. No attempt to help, no alternatives offered, just an abrupt “no.” Because of their awful attitude and complete lack of understanding toward a disabled guest, we cancelled our booking ourselves, there was no way we were staying somewhere that can’t even handle a basic act of decency. If you’re looking for a place that actually cares about its guests, especially those with additional needs, avoid this hotel completely. Their behaviour was disgraceful and showed zero professionalism or empathy.

Updated boutique hotel with small glitches

    rating08 Dec 2025

Very updated hotel in a nice old shorter building on a side street from main O'Connell St along with several other hotel. Clearly updated with all newer furnishings. CHeck in was good and on top of paying to have check in time moved up to noon, they actually had my room ready for 10am as my flight landed at 7am! Room itself small and would be very tight for 2. Minimal closet space and very very lacking in desktop space. Bedside "table" is literally a 2X2 Ikea floating shelf like so barely enough room for CPAP machine. No drawer for clothes, and safe was at bottom of closet so not exactly easy to access. It did have a small fridge which was a nice addition. Main issue was climate control. Despite being in single digit temperature outside, the hallway is like a sauna and the room as 26 Celcius. AC despite being on doesn't work. Engineering staff gone for the night and i couldn't open window either (which took engineering staff about 1/2 hr next day to get open...so it was broken for sure). Kept telling me AC is fixed, but of course it was not (but at least by then i had a window to use). Room never went below 23 celcius despite wide open window. ON the last night ( I was there for 5 nights) it FINALLY worked and could get temperature down to 21 before i shut it off . Breakfast is nice and good, but at 19 euros! Service was great, and you can also order food at night which was convenient after long day trips as there aren't any pubs nearby (at least 5-10 min walk). So all in all not a bad stay, but the AC issue and lack of storage/desktop space knocked one star off Sylwia Bednarek, General Manager at Hotel 7 Dublin, responded to this review Dear CCKiWeTO,Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear about these issues during your stay but we appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve, we do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.RegardsManagementHotel7

    Intimate Dublin Hotel ♥️

    rating21 Nov 2025

Really lovely welcoming lobby area, the hotel is intimate, warm and very cosy. The room I stayed in (room 101) was clean and well equipped with all you could need. Plenty of towels, complimentary water, nicely scented shampoo and shower gels etc. Just one critique, the shower tray leaks onto the floor when showering however, the shower is wonderful. Beds are also very comfy. We didn’t use the bar or dining facilities. I’ll stay again. Modern and clean but rooms are small

    rating02 Nov 2025

Nice hotel within walking distance of city center (Temple Bar, Trinity College, etc). Modern and clean. Rooms are a bit small but we only needed to sleep there so not a big deal. They are also a bit stuffy even in October/November when we were there. I imagine Summer would be pretty hot in the rooms. Staff in the restaurant were very accommodating to a family member who is vegan and has lactose intolerance. Sylwia Bednarek, General Manager at Hotel 7 Dublin, responded to this review Dear Ari W,Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we appreciate all your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to stay with us on your next trip to Dublin!RegardsManagementHotel7
