    This is a pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The public rooms are attractive with some original architectural features. Breakfast was very good.Our room was quiet and pleasant, if overwarm. We kept the window open during our stay. Slept well in the comfortable bed. Bathroom small but perfectly ok.Note to anyone with mobility problems - no lift available.We visited the basement bar a few times. Decent food. Good service. Nice setting.The hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from the centre but there is a bus stop about 200 yards up the road where you can get a bus to Dawson Street. It's also fairly close to the Aviva Stadium and the Lansdown Dart railway station. (I suspect it gets very busy when there is something on at the stadium.)I would be very happy to stay there again.

    Fantastic customer service by the receptionist and staff. Hotel has great facilities and in every clean & comfortable. Value for money.

    I stayed here for 2 nights towards the end of June 2025 to attend a Concert in The Aviva and to also attend a Match in Croke Park between Kerry vs Armagh. I came back here again 2 weeks later for another night's stay as my experience here was so good. My parent's stayed here for the All-Ireland Match between Kerry vs Donegal and the staff couldn't have been more nice towards them. The 3 different rooms were quiet and comfortable, therefore lending to a good nights sleep on all 3 occasions. They had a barbecue going-on in the front yard, before the Concert on my first night's stay which was a nice touch. The receptionist was so helpful when I asked her about walking routes for travelling to the city centre and things to do in the area.

    My adult son and I had an enjoyable stay at Lansdowne in September 2024. It's in a good location and is within walking distance of enough sights, restaurants, and pubs to keep you busy for quite a while. The best part of the stay, however, was the hotel's staff. A special thanks to Jimmy, Olli, and Brandon for making us feel at home.
