Location

This city hotel is located in Dublin, within a short distance of the tourist centre where bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues are to be found. Sights such as Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Christ Church Cathedral are situated within 5-10 minutes' walk of the hotel and the nearest bus railway stations is approximately 10 minutes' drive away. The sea may be reached in about 1 hour by making use of the public transport services and it is around 13 km to the city airport.

Facility

The hotel has 182 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a babysitting service, room service and a laundry service. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet ensures a great start to the day. At dinner, guests order their favourite dishes à la carte. Vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request.     After many hours of researching different areas of Dublin and what seemed like hundreds of hotels , finally settled on Leonardo Christchurch. We were not disappointed and particularly liked the location and service from the staff. We opted for 2 family rooms , each with 2 double beds to give us more comfort and recovery time after such busy days. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice, well topped up and neat and clean, particularly considering how busy it was. Dined in bar for lunch one day and again excellent.     Absolutely fantastic hotel. We booked the executive room on the top floor and it was so worth the money. Spacious, great bed. Fantastic bathroom.Rooms were perfect temperature, modern, clean and had every amenity you could possibly need. Breakfast was perfect good quality and quantity, something for everyone. Position of the hotel is brilliant for all attractions in Dublin. Lastly, a special mention to all the staff especially reception and the maid service. They were so helpful and pleasant and attended to our every need. Marvellous job!I can’t recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back.     Stayed here for 1 night before a work event. Hotel is in a good location, short walk from College Green/ Grafton Street. Rooms comfortable and food was good and reasonably priced. Especially loved the shower! Would recommend this hotel.     Nice hotel but could be improved

    We arrived for one night to attend a comedy gig in Vicar Street. The hotel was very central and nearby where we needed to be.We had reserved a superior room with a view of Christchurch cathedral. It met our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable, it was clean and had a lovely bathroom with a powerful rain shower. The only thing was that the curtains when drawn covered the radiator and so when we returned to the room it was cool. Apart from that we had a restful night.The service could have been better. I didn’t feel that we were welcomed by reception staff. There was no chit chat we were just checked in and not given details of breakfast or where it was served. when we checked out we asked for a taxi and the told us to go outside and hail one or to use an app. This is very poor as someone who does not live in Dublin why would we know what app to use. The hotel directory did state that reception would call a taxi if required. It was a really wet morning and to have to stand outside to wait for a taxi to drive past left a disappointing impression. We purchased breakfast and for the price charged it was good value. The only criticisms i would have is that the porridge was cold and that many items in the hot buffet were swimming in grease. The bacon did not look very appetizing either. The fried eggs had been sitting a while and were hard. The mushrooms and fried potatoes were delicious. Hot drinks are from a machine. All in all good value. Overall a pleasant stay but not sure if would return as didn’t feel value for money and the customer service wasn’t great.
