The pineta palace is a lovely place. The staff is extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They'll make everything they can to make your stay there an unforgettable moment. I'm enjoying the sun right now in their peaceful terrace Thanks a lot guys!

    Stay elsewhere

The hotel staff were unfriendly. The room was passable. The food was inedible. We had a group of 26 and 1 server. The dinner was a starter of pasta slopped into a bowl, there was 1 piece of stale bread each. This was followed by a main which looked totally unappealing. It was meatloaf and 1 potato, no vegetables or salad. The desert wasn't particularly nice either. Breakfast, there were rarely cups or tea. The juice machine ran out. There was 1 toaster for 4 pieces of bread, which took ages. There were yoghurt, cheese and meat. Once the pastries ran out they didn't replace them. There were a few horrible looking apples but no other fresh fruit. We stayed 5 nights but only ate dinner 3 times as it was so awful, not what you want after a full day out in Rome

    Bring your own teabags

This is not 4 star quality. We are on a half board deal. The food is poor. Breakfast is limited and very sweet. The three course evening meal is served, there is no choice or flexibility, and it is disappointing. The room has a kettle but no mugs, glasses or coffee etc. This afternoon I asked for a teabag - freely available at breakfast - and was charged €3. Very disappointed.

We were flying home on United from our Mediterranean cruise when our flight was canceled. United kindly made accommodations for us at the Pineta palace. A lovely hotel, very clean, and the staff was so accommodating to the large number of people inconvenienced by the airline. The gentleman working the desk on the morning that we arrived, Antonio, was extremely pleasant and made an awful situation bearable. Thank you, Antonio!

    Lovely room, poor breakfast

    rating12 Jul 2025

A very nice comfortable triple room, although only one chair and no other furniture on the balcony. Also they have 2 breakfast rooms. We were turned away from the one advertised on their website as we were not part of a party/group, and sent to a grim looking one in the basement. Breakfast left a lot to be desired sadly.I wanted poached eggs and they said they would need to charge extra (we had already paid for breakfast). Never been to a 4 star hotel before where this was the case. Come on Pineta, its only poached eggs!! and you've already charged more than enough for your poor breakfast in the dingy basement. I would book the room without the breakfast if staying here and not part of a group.
